Yoongi had parked near a homeless center, and Jungkook stood beside the cargo bed, his hands careful as he compelled each human to forget the events, the vampires and the torment. He carefully guided each of them off the cargo bed and toward a grassy area near the shelter. He helped them get comfortable before he turned away from them and climbed onto the backseat beside Namjoon.

Namjoon was pale, whimpering lightly while his body trembled from the loss of blood and Jungkook carefully reached for him, but he refused to touch him. He refused to ever get too close to him—or Yoongi, and he tried not to crumble as he listened to his erratic heart beats. His eyes were darkening as he was surrounded by the smell of the human's blood, but he forced himself to relax. "Yoongi, take us to the hospital. You need to be the one to take him inside." His voice was raw, and Yoongi's eyes widened as he nodded, but his fingers felt stiff against the wheel. He stopped when Seokjin shook his head at him.

Seokjin hesitated as he looked back at Jungkook, "We could just—"

"No." Jungkook instantly cut him off, his word dangerous as he stared into his friend's red eyes.

Namjoon pleaded softly, "It can be Seokjin..." he trembled, gently nodding as he looked at Jungkook with tears in his eyes. "Please, Jungkook, we don't have time to waste. I trust you both—make it stop." His words cut into Jungkook, and he hesitated before he eventually nodded. Namjoon breathed in relief as he watched Seokjin cut into his forearm, and he held the arm coated in his black blood toward the human. Namjoon quickly gripped onto him, his body quivering as he fed on the blood.

He had never done this before, but they had once revealed the healing properties of vampire blood, but if it was overdone the effects could be deadly.

Yoongi stared at him, his eyes slightly widened as he watched his friend feed on the black blood but Jungkook yanked Seokjin's arm away from him when he could hear the human's bones connecting once again. Namjoon was breathing heavily, the blood curing him of any and every disease that had lingered within him and he felt more alive than he ever had before. "Thank you." He whispered and Seokjin smiled as he nodded.

"Are you feeling alright, Namjoon?" Jungkook asked carefully and he smiled softly when Namjoon quickly nodded with a smile on his lips.

"The other humans—" Yoongi began, his hesitation apparent, but he continued as Seokjin frowned at him, "Jimin is an old friend of mine, and it worries me that they're also going after Hades—" he hesitated while his friends only looked at him with no clear expression in their faces. "You know what could happen to them if they get close enough and we all have the same end goal—"

"What do you suppose we do, Yoongi? Work alongside the humans when one of them tried to kill me—" Jungkook didn't want to mention the first interaction with the hunter because he wanted to keep that detail to himself, and Yoongi immediately interjected.

"I wouldn't let either of them hurt you or Seokjin." Yoongi vowed earnestly and it made the vampires smile a bit.

Seokjin hummed as he thought of the feisty vampire that had stabbed Jungkook, "Could be fun." He shrugged as his red eyes met black ones, but he continued once he looked at the pink haired human, "If it means that much to you, Yoongi then I do not mind if you invite the humans to join us on our next hunt."

"Jungkook?" Yoongi turned to look at him because he wanted to be sure that he wouldn't mind the decision.

Jungkook thought about it for a moment, and his chest still ached from wooden stake that had been pierced into him, but he thought of the brunette. He had tenacity, he would give him that, but he knew he wouldn't survive Hades. They would be hopeless if they somehow managed to get close enough to Hades and Jungkook couldn't allow it to happen. It wasn't because of that human, he told himself—no it was because he wanted to help humans as a whole...
