Stalin's POV
I drop my head onto my desk atop the paperwork I've been working on, exhaling deeply. Being a total dictator is really hard.
*BRING BRING*
I stare at the vibrating reciver, sighing as I reach for it. I don't want to speak to any more of my so called "cabinet members" today.
"Hello this is Joseph Stalin speaking. How may I help you?' I ask monotonously and lean back in my chair.
"Stella! It's your pal Addie! Man am I happy to hear your voice again." I hear my friend talking through the receiver and sit up quickly.
"Addie? Is that really you! Holy shit, it's been months since we last spoke!" I pause briefly, a grin growing on my face.
"Yeah, way too long. How's communism over there?" He asks me, laughing.
"Communism is great. You're missing out on a lot man. You should come here, help me run things."
"Nah. I'm good. I got Germany to keep control of. But I will visit sometime."
"Cool, can't wait. So what's it you're ringin' for? You never just nonchalantly call me up."
"Well, that's what I wanted to talk about. We haven't talked in a while, I wanna get together, have a chat, catch up. What d'ya say?" He asks easily, and I can almost hear his smile.
"Well tomorrow is Saturday. I don't think I have anything planned......" I quickly check my schedule. There's one thing: run the country.
Eh, I can do that on Sunday.
"Sure thing Addie. How about Starbucks, the one in Poland?"I tell him. It was our favorite place to chill before we became supreme ruling dictators of totalitarian states.
"Great, tomorrow at 12?"
"Yeah. Can't wait to see you." I hang up, still grinning.
I can't wait to hang with Addie. We were always mates before we went off our separate ways to rule our individual states.
Maybe we'll get to talk, maybe get together and take over Europe.
Yeah, ruling Europe sounds good.
