I got out of bed, with a pounding headache. So I knew that the whispers would be back today.

 They were gone yesterday.

I walked to the cafeteria while wearing sweatpants, (with no strings) and a baggy white t-shirt. My hair was a bit more ruffled than usual.

After I grabbed my tray, I looked over to see Dutchlynn sitting alone. I walked over to Anna's table first, "What's up with D?"

Anna twirled her hair, "So now you care?"

I rolled my eyes, "I don't need your weirdness right now A. What's wrong with her?"

Maddox shrugged, "We don't know. We went to sit with her, and she said that she wanted to be alone."

I narrowed my eyes, "And you two just let her be alone?"

Anna scoffed, "C, it's only her second day here. Maybe she's feeling more stressed."

I sighed heavily, "All the more reason for her to be surrounded by her so-called friends."

Anna shrugged, "By all means, go sit with her. Try to talk to her."

I nodded, "I-I will actually." I walked away and sat down across from Dutchlynn.

She looked up from her book for a split second and then continued reading, "Why are you here?"

I smiled, "Why the low face?"

She sighed while still reading, "You didn't answer my question."

I chuckled, "An answer for an answer."

Dutchlynn put her book down, revealing her color-drained eyes, "I'm having an off day."

I sighed, "Perfect! So am I. I'll just hang with you then."

She raised an eyebrow, "Cute of you to think we're friends after one night of truth or dare. Now, what's up with you?"

I shrugged, "I just need a break from reality." Dutchlynn then started humming. I scoffed, "What the hell are you doing?"

She then began singing, "Sometimes it's hard to face reality..."

 I shook my head, "Weirdo."

 Dutch scoffed, "Asshole."

I smirked, "So, what are your plans for today?"

She rolled her eyes, "What do you think, I'm gonna go shopping?"

I nodded, "You're right. What do you want to do?"

 Dutch shrugged, "Anything."

I sighed, "That's all I needed to hear. Let's go." I grabbed her hand and pulled her out of the cafeteria.

She widened her eyes, "Wait, my strawberries!"

I scoffed, "They'll be here later, come on." I pulled her around the corner to the main hall.

Dutchlynn crossed her arms, "And what are we doing here?"

I laughed, "We're going to cause trouble."

She widened her eyes, "What does that mean? Are you going to get me kicked out of here?"

I rolled my eyes, "It's a psych ward. You're not getting kicked out." I looked over to see one of the usual nurses carrying folders.

I walked up to her and sighed, putting my hand on her shoulder "Hey, one of the suicidal kids got a hold of the non-safety scissors in the art room. Ms. Amy told me to come find you."
