My whole life i always wanted some peace and happiness. Sure, for a long time I was focused on my revenge, but today my heart shattered and there was nothing I could really do about it. The woman I love was never going to be mine after this day. Here we are, at a wedding that isn't ours.
This quirky blonde deserves better than the man she's about to be with. Emma deserves someone who knows her better than she knows herself and while some will say it is this one-handed pirate, I disagree.
I watched as the beautiful woman walked down the isle with her parents. It wasn't fair what life had thrown at the two of us, but the moment she told me that Hook had proposed I knew our relationship had to end. The wonderful, lustfull hookups needed to end for she was getting married to this rum addicted man. A man who didn't know her like I did. A man who couldn't fulfill her needs and desires like me. The only thing i couldn't do like he could was speak up about how I felt. I chased down her parents for years and tried to kill her. How could she feel the same as I?
Our son placed his hand on mine and whispered, "There's still some time, Mom." as he looked at my teary eyes.
I couldn't bare looking at him so i averted my eyes to the ground. "I-I can't.." I told him, cowardly.
Snow and David sat next to me and Henry. The raven haired woman did the same action as my son as she lifted my head. "Regina? Is everything alright?" she asks so sweetly. It was in this moment that I realized she really did want me to be happy. Just as she said time and time again. She wanted me to find my happiness and I was about to lose it to a damn pirate.
I shook my head answering my dear friend, "No. it's not." i stood up and looked at my former lover. "Emma... don't make the wrong decision.." I walked back down the building and stood just outside the doors as it began to downpour. I could hear the crowd gasp and everyone bustled off of the roof.
Paying very little attention to anything but the ground, I felt a tight grip around my arm. When I looked to see who it was, my face went pale white. It was Emma, pulling our wet bodies down a different street. To be honest, yes. It was just like in the movies. But this isn't a movie. It's our fairytale. Mine and hers. So as cheesy as any fairytale gets, this special blonde kisses me immediately when we're out of sight.
I pushed her off of me and looked at her dumbfounded. "Emma-" i began but she stopped me.
"No. I said no. I'm not getting married. I'm not making the wrong decision." I smiled at this quirky blonde whose hair was falling out of the perfect bun.
I was in absolute shock when hearing what she said, a huge smile grew on my face and I smashed my lips against hers. "Thank you." I whispers against her lips, resting my head against hers.
"No, thank you for staying. Thank you for believing is us." Emma tells me, our smiles only growing as rain dripped down our faces.
