Chapter 1~Welcome Back, Luz!!

Hey Guys!!
I know I haven't written anything in such a long fucking time and I'm so sorry. I just got into a little stump with my writing and I recently just started picking it back up! Also I am here to welcome you with a new story! Mind you this is my first Lumity fic so pls be nice and also, I take credit for all the drawings shown in this book. I did draw these and they took me a good 4 hrs all together including the cover so pls enjoy and thankyou for being so patient!

Amity's POV:

"Today's the day!!" I squealed  quietly to myself as I groggily yet excitedly rose from my bed. I rubbed the tiredness out of my eyes and grabbed my scroll from off my bed stand. I ended up finding myself scrolling through my contacts to find Willow's, but before I could get to it I had already gotten the FaceTime request screen with her contact. I was surprised to see that she called my first but, then again she also knew what today meant. I immediately pressed the answer call button and Willow's face appeared on the screen.
"Hey Amity! She excitedly greeted me. "Hey Willow!!" I answered. "Wow, I can tell somebody's excited to see their girlfriend usually your as prickly as a gorgon this early in the morning." I felt heat rise in my cheeks out of embarrassment, "N-no, you can j-just, shut up. That's not true, I'm always nice!" "Oh rlly?" She asked with a teasing smile. I jut let out a small "Hmph." Crossing my arms, my face still hot. She just snickered, "Sure, Blight. Anyways, just wanted to bug you like always.  But, I'll see you at the owl house, later Ams!" Willow said, returning to her usual laid back tone. "F-fine, see you there." I said before hanging up. "Willow, you ass."
I chuckled to myself before stretching myself out and getting out of bed. I went to my dresser, picking  out, my black doc martens, a pair of vintage ripped jeans and the hoodie that Luz gave me before she left. I hugged it, remembering her short brown hair and her small stature, breathing in her lingering autumn scent. Honestly I wonder what she looks like now? I thought randomly to myself as I grabbed the outfit and started heading towards the bathroom. I mean, could Noceda really couldn't have changed that much right? I mean its been 4 whole months since I've last seen her. Naw, I decided. Not my dumbass, little shortie. I thought, as I stripped myself of my clothes and stepped into the shower, the steaming water felt soothingly nice.

As I stepped out of the shower I felt the blast of cold air hit my body making me shiver a bit. I grabbed my fluffy towels, wrapping them around myself as I dried my hair. I ruffled it under my already stained purple towel. I accidentally washed my hair the first day that I died it a couple months ago and ended up staining that towel purple permanently. So I just ended using this same towel over and over and over again.
As I got my hair to a semi dry state I began fixing it up. By the time it was all brushed out and clean I put it up in my usual half up half down style. Over the course of the summer it had gotten a bit long and unruly but, honestly I just did not want to go through the hassle of mom bitching about my hair again. Once it was tied up I threw on my outfit and some light makeup and walked out, and just to my surprise was met with Eric and Emira. Fucking fantastic. "Ugh, what do you want asshats." I groaned at them. "Aww, baby sis is that anyway to treat your elders."

Eric commented. "Yeah, we just wanted to come and- OOOoo000!!" Emira suddenly cute herself off, and began gawking at me in realization. "Aww, look who's getting all dressed up for her girlfriend." Emira teased. I just sighed, feeling my face flush again as I walked past them down the stairs and into the hallway leading to the kitchen. "Mittens, hey! Wait up!" Eric called after me.
I just proceeded to check my watch as I grabbed one of the muffins out of the pantry. I immediately starte to choke on my food as I saw the time. It was 11:30, Shit!! Willow said the meet time was at 12, fuck! "Cough, Cough, Shit! I gotta  go, now!!" "Fine, we'll seeya later then mittens." " And have fun!" "But not too much fun~" Emira snickered as she and Edric high fives. I just busted out the door, grabbing my purse and flipping them off as I left. My face felt heated from the embarrassments I call older siblings, ugh why do these fuckers have to do this every time. I thought, grabbing my bike and booking as fast as I could towards the owl house.
