A loud beeping sound woke Daneliya up from her sleep. Her eyes fluttered open. Her muscles were stiff from the lack of use and her brain was hazy.
She rolled over and reached for her alarm, trying to turn it off.
After she finally turned it off she just layed there, staring at the ceiling. She slowly pushed herself up into a sitting position.
She's got up and started walking to the kitchen, putting a jacket on while doing so.
She moved through her routine like she did every morning. Make some coffee, eat something small for breakfast, and watch the news.
She mindlessly clicked through the channels, waiting for her coffee to get done. She stopped on the news channel.
A brown haired man sat behind a desk with a blonde haired lady. They man and women weren't what caught her attention, it was a picture on the screen beside them.
It was the men that attacked her in the alley last night. "A couple men were found in an alley near Lottie's Diner. There were no witnesses on the situation, but the men were badly hurt." The brown haired man said.
Then what blonde headed women said next caught her attention. "Last night Batman's famous sidekick, Robin, and was also spotted-" Daneliya gasped.
A blurry black and white photo was displayed on the screen. Daneliya went to turn the volume up but there was a knock at her door.
Daneliya groaned, hoping it wasn't Carl. He always seems to be asking her on a date. Even after she politely declined him over 10 times he never seemed to give up.
Daneliya opened the front door and her eyes widened. In front of her was none other then Richard Grayson.
"Hey, Sunshine." Dick said as he stared at her. She stared at him for a little while longer than she hugged him, her arms wrapped around his neck as her head was against his chest.
He chuckled and wrapped his arms around her waist. You may be thinking why she would be hugging the man who broke her heart when he left, well she wasn't sure why. She didn't even realize she was hugging him until his grip on her waist loosened.
She pulled away so quick it's a miracle she didn't get whiplash. She took a step back and scoffed.
"Where have you been?" Dick looked at her like a deer caught in headlights.
"Actually, you know what, I don't even want to know." Daneliya looked up and noticed small movement behind him.
She saw a girl with dark blue hair. The girl walked up to her and offered her hand, "Hi, I'm Rachel." The girl seemed shy and nervous.
