Games Begin

-Unknown Facility-9:40pm-

*Unknown POV*

I started walking through the halls, where there are dead bodies and monsters roaming around. None of them seem to want to harm me.

Good.

I made my way to an elevator and take out my card to swipe it on the key card.

*Identification Complete*

The elevator doors open up. I walk inside with a smile on my face.

Once the doors open again, I walk ahead to my destination.

There are two test tubes in the center of the room. Two giant creatures are asleep in them.

I walk towards the tubes and place my hand on the glass. A smirk appears on my face.

I turn my body and walk away. I make it to the elevator again to reach the roof of the building.

Once I made it to the top, I walk towards the edge to take a look at the city in all its glory.

Screams are heard across the city, fire is spreading from building to building, the stench of blood is in the air, and the sounds of hissing is coming from all around.

I smile with satisfaction. "Let ze gamez begin."

-Outside the Apartment Building-9:43pm-

*Boys POV*

Me and the girl are running for out lives, trying to survive the monsters coming our way.

I notice the girl hasn't used her gun at all. "Did she run out of ammo?"

The girl looks at the building in front of us and yells "There. My apartment!"

"We need to get inside, now", I yelld. The girl nod.

We went inside the building and ran up the stairs. I was about to catch my breath, but the girl stopped me and said "Fourth floor. My apartment. Go now!"

It seems like she's also trying to catch her breath, but I get it. Safety first.

We both ran as fast as we could up the stairs.

A monster stopped us in our tracks. The girl screamed for dear life. I told her to duck, and I shot the fucker in the chest. The monster screamed and fell down.

"Thanks. I owe you one", she said."Actually I owe you twice."

"You can thank me later", I said. She nod her head and we kept running up the stairs.

We eventually made it to the fourth floor.

The girl grabbed her keys and opened her apartment floor. We both went inside and took a bunch of deep breaths.

"You know, if circumstances were different, my neighbors would be thinking of why I'm bringing a boy into my apartment", she said, trying to joke.
