Chapter 8

Homura and her imposter had a stare down as everyone else watched in confusion before Shiki spoke up. 

"Two Homuras...But, based on looks, one of them is..."

"When I arrived on this planet, I found myself in a jail cell oddly enough." "I spent one day making my escape, and another gathering information, which led me here. On the way I bumped into Y/n."

On cue the mentioned girl appeared out of an alley yawning. "Ah...Gomenasai~. We got lost on the way back!" 

Everyone but Homura turned their heads towards her voice. 

"Y/n you're ok!" Rebecca let out a sigh of relief as her eyes came in contact with her (s/t) friend.

"Hm?" Y/n glanced around dumbfounded at the beaten up monsters everywhere. Tiko sweatdropped before yelling out. " What did we miss!!"

Y/n tilted her head and replied. "A lot apparently..." She glanced over and noticed Jamilov and the herd behind him.

"And now I come to find..." Homura pointed her sword at the imposter. "Some scoundrel going about using my name!" "First of all, I would never take on a man's appearance!" Homura said before she glanced to the side, a faint blush adorning her face. "I mean...It does pique my interest, but...No! It does not!..Confound it! I spoke my mind aloud again!"

Y/n, who now stood next to Rebecca sweatdropped as Homura rambled.

"Pretty sure she's the real one." "Yeah."

"But then....How did the impostor-..know so much about us?"

Shiki pointed at the Impostor annoyed. "Who are you!"

"I was so close...." 

"Blah, blah, blah, SHUT UP! This is so not doing it for me!" Jamilov said as he swung back and forth, he put his scythe up and it transformed into his Maria and it chumped down on a monster behind him before devouring every monster close by.

"That guy!" "The monsters, he-!"

"I hate it when things drag on like this.." He turned back towards the group. "I'm done, its not worth it anymore. You can all die now." He aimed his Maria and them and a lazar beam shot out of its mouth, Shiki and Homura dodged and the attack came in contact with a building scaring the townsfolk. 

A debris almost came in contact with an old lady but Y/n was quick to pick her up and jump out of the way before the impact. The old woman thanked her and was led away by another townsfolk to safety as Y/n made it back to the others.

The maniac kept blasting at every direction letting out a shrill laugh in the process.

"Lazers?!" "Is there anything he can't do?" Weisz balled his fists annoyed.

In the midst of the commotion Homura spotted her Imposter taking off. "I will go after the impostor and uncover the villains true identity!" She said to her friends before going after the runaway.

Shiki nodded. "Okay! This guy." He lunged forwards towards Jamilov and kicked him in the face. "Leave him to me!"

Jamilov was thrown back but still looked untouched. "And?"

"It didn't work!?" "He's got the perfect cheat." Rebecca said, a bead of sweat trailing down her cheek. Pino turned to her. "Cheat?"

As Shiki kept up his fight with Jamilov Rebecca explained.
