- Chapter 1-
Surprise

Hearing the sounds of the rain fall on top of the hard pavement sent a shiver down your spine but quickly disappeared as he wrapped his arms around your shoulders. A smile formed on his face while you looked back at him holding you tight in his embrace.
"I promise i'll be here forever Y/n." he spoke softly as the blonde buried his face into your neck.

Hearing the final bell go off brought you a sigh of relief knowing school had just ended. You lifted your head off of the desk while you looked around the class only to be faced with a tall brunette boy with his hair pulled back into a messy bun who was standing in front of you. He has Dark green eyes, and a mean look on his face which made you not talk to him during school hours.
You sigh when you know that you have to talk to him,

"Geez Y/n I never thought you were the type to sleep during class."he chuckled as he placed a finger on his chin,
"Oh shut up Eren, it's not like you're any better and I wasn't sleeping genius." you rolled your eyes then got up from where you were sitting.
"Well it looked like you were." He replied as he leaned against your desk,
"Well I wasn't, anyone who isn't an idiot would have realized that." you said and started to walk away, he followed right behind you.
"Ouch, that hurt." he teased as he placed a hand at his heart,
"That won't be the only thing that will hurt if you don't leave me alone." you said as you looked him directly in his dark green eyes,
"I'll take the hint and leave then." He laughed and started to walk the opposite way until he stopped in his tracks,
"Oh yeah you might want an umbrella." He said and started to walk back towards you,
...
"Well it looks like I'm running home then." You laughed under your breath,
...
"I could always walk you home since I have an umbrella." he answered back, you thought about it until you gave him an answer,
"Sure." was the answer that you gave, he smiled and grabbed your wrist pulling you down the hallway.
"Hey stop dragging me Eren!" You yelled but he didn't listen.
After about 2 minutes of him dragging you around he finally stopped to grab the umbrella.
"It's pretty small so you might have to get a little close beside me if you don't want to get wet." he smirked,
"I'd rather roll in a puddle than get close to you." You replied,
"You don't mean that Y/N." He laughed then opened the umbrella,
...
"Come on let's go." he added on then started to walk out of the door,
"Hey wait for me." You laughed and started to run after him. Once you were close enough to Eren, You went under the same umbrella clinging to his arm,
"I thought you didn't want to be close to me." he chuckled,
"Oh sorry, I didn't mean to grab your arm." You replied fast then let go of his arm embarrassed,
"Just can't get enough of me huh?" He teased,
"You wish." You rolled your eyes as you took a step away from him, having your arm getting a little wet from the rain.
...
"Tsk, you shouldn't be in the rain Y/n you'll get sick, especially since you're wearing a thin sweater." he said as he moved more of the umbrella onto your side. You were shocked at what he had just said to you,
"But now you're in the rain." You said as you looked directly at his side profile, he looked back at you as well,
"Don't worry about me Y/n i'm fine." He smiled warmly,
"Oh ok." You smiled back at him,

While the both of you were walking through the rain, you guys joked around while Eren was making sure you were safe from the rain. You had never seen Eren like this before, when you would talk to him at school he would always keep to himself or act cocky when talking to his friends or you. So I guess you could say that you liked seeing Eren like this.
"Hey are you ok?" He asked with his head cocked to the side,
"Oh- yeah I'm fine, I guess I just zoned out for a minute." You laughed,
"Alright, just making sure." he smiled back,
...
"Hey Y/n, your shoelaces are undo-" he was quickly cut off by the sound of you falling on the sidewalk,
"Ouch." You yelled as you cursed swear words in your head,
"Y/n are you ok?" He said while he was dying of laughter,
"Yeah I'm fine." You replied as you placed both of your hands on the sidewalk,
"Here let me help you up." he offered his hand, you accepted his offer and got back up from the ground.
...
"You're such a clutz." He laughed still having a grip on my hand,
"No need to point it out." You laughed along with him.
...
"Hm, now what will we do about your clothes since they're soaked now." He mumbled as he lifted his finger on his chin,
"Oh, here Y/n take this." He said as he took off his hoodie, your eyes widened.
...
"Have this, you need it so you don't get sick." He answered as he handed you his hoodie,
"Eren I don't want it, You should keep it so you don't get sick." You replied back as a shiver was sent down your spine,
"Take it Y/n I dont need it, I'm fine trust me." He said as he threw the hoodie over top of your head then pulled it down, you had no choice but to wear his hoodie now.
"I think it looks cute on you." he chuckled,
...
"I- um, Thank you." You could feel your face burning up, then all of a sudden you feel Eren lift the hood on top of your head.
"That's better, now you shouldnt get sick." He smiled warmly
"Lets hope you don't catch a cold." You laughed quietly,
"Eh I wont get a cold, like I said dont work about me... Please." His voice sounded soft but also despert.
...
"Alright, but if you do get sic-" You were cutted off,
"Y/n, Dont. Worry. About. Me." He replied as he wrapped his arm around my shoulders.
...
"O- ok." You answered while you felt your face burn up,

-10 minutes later-

Once you reached the front steps of your house you thanked Eren for walking you home and waved him goodbye.
"Cya Eren, and thank you for walking me home." You smiled warmly,
"It was no problem, I'll cya later Love." he winked then started to walk away,
You walked up the steps to your door as you held onto the railing beside you while you watched Eren walk away, then opened the door. As soon as you were inside your house, you kicked off your shoes putting them in front of a heater hoping that they would dry quicker. Once your shoes were in front of the heater you realize that you still had Eren's sweater on
Oh god I totally forgot to give him his sweater back. You thought to yourself
"It's fine, I'll just give it back to him tomorrow." You whispered under your breath as you shoved your hands in the pocket only to feel something. You grabbed the thing in the pocket and pulled it out, once you saw what it was I smiled spread across your face. It was a piece of paper with his number on it, you didn't want to lose it, so you just shoved it back in your pocket.
...
I should get something to eat from the kitchen since I didnt have lunch today. You thought to yourself.
you would make your way across the creaky wooden floors to get to the kitchen only to hear your fathers voice,

"I think it would be a good Idea to send Y/n over to Scotland." Your dad's voice says low,
"I mean it's your daughter..." Your stepmother replied as you heard her light a cigarette in the kitchen. Your heart dropped at the sudden words that your dad had just said,

he must think that i'm still on my way back home, you thought to yourself as you backed up from the door leading to the kitchen.
"He has to be kidding." You mumbled to yourself as your eyes were wide open, but that idea was quickly shot out the window when you over heard his voice again,
"Ok so, I just got Y/N air plane tickets to Scotland, and she leaves in 2 two days. So Thursday." he said as you heard him place his phone down on the table,
"Good I never liked that brat, glade she's leaving." you heard the smirk in her voice, and your dad just laughed.

You didn't know what to think.
