Once upon a time, my dad was serving in Afghanistan for 24 months. That's two years I wouldn't be seeing him. The sad thing is, that remembrance day is today, and I would give anything to see my dad. He's already been gone 3 months. I want to see my daddy again. I can't go two years without seeing him. He'll miss my graduation, my birthdays, and Christmas. My goal is to see him before my graduation, but I don't know if that's possible.

Ring!! Ring!!

It was time for my soccer game. I needed to get ready. No that's actually not what I needed. I needed my daddy. I'm only in seventh grade. I need my daddy there to make me laugh so hard I cry, or kiss and hug me goodnight.

By the time I was finished getting ready the game was about to begin. I was the goalie, so I had to get in net.

Halfway through the game, I heard someone call me out of net. My coach wanted to talk to me. He told me to close my eyes, and open them when he said I could. I did what he said. But when I opened them, I didn't find the coach, I found my daddy. He stood there with his arms open and I jumped in them, with tears running down my face. It couldn't have possibly been better.
