Chapter two- Faye's arrival to the palace

During the ride to the palace, Talon was smiling like an idiot the entire time. "I need to calm down. She's just a girl. Who is adorable, and depending on us to look after her. She just looked so helpless and confused when we found her.. I just want to keep her safe. I promise nothing will happen to you, Faye. I don't know what your life was like before you cane here, or what problems you had, but I promise we'll make sure you're happy here.", he muttered. She had dozed off, she was probably exhausted and stressed. He chuckled "Heh. So cute." They soon reached the palace. He tried to shake her awake , but he couldn't wake her up. He lifted her off the horse and carried her, bridal style, inside to where the others were. They were sitting in a large hall, at a round glass table. Leon and Aquarion just stared at him for a second. "Talon, you didn't do anything weird to her did you? Anyways, now that you're here we can talk. Please wake Faye up."  Leon and Aquarion were jealous. They had both wanted to take her back, but decided that she would be most comfortable with Talon. Faye was was so tense, even when sleeping. Talon walked to an empty chair and gently set Faye down. "Eh? What, no! She feel asleep during the ride here. I've never met anyone who can fall asleep on a horse. I guess she was just exhausted. ", he said as he woke her up. Faye woke up to the men staring at her. "Well, are we going to talk or are yiu going to stare at me all night?", she asked, annoyed. "Ooh, she's feisty. I like that. Perfect if we're going to end up together.", Leon said, laughing.  "Leon. I can assure you that that's not happening. I don't even think I can tolerate your presence." Faye responded. "If you're done with your pointless fighting, I'll get right into what i wanted to say." He had a soft smile on his face. "Pffft, they're like children.", he thought, amused. "Faye, we put together a room for you and the servants are running you a bath. If you're hungry later, we can ask the cook to prepare something for you. We need to set some ground rules. First of all, no entering our rooms unless we allow you to. Second, you have access to every part of the palace except our private library. Last, you must tell us if you want to leave so we can accompany you. We need to be able to protect you. Do these work for you?", Aquarion said as he looked at Faye. She nodded yes and looked at him. "Yes. They do. ", she said as she played with her hoodie strings. She usually did this when she was nervous. "Hmm.. But I wouldn't mind if she was in my room. She can invade my privacy all she wants.", Leon said as he smiled at Faye. "Hey. We're meant to be taking care of her, not scaring her. Stop being weird, idiot.", Talon said as he smacked Leon's forehead. Leon whined and smacked him back. Faye giggled as she watched them. "It's not my fault you're too scared to be up-front about your feelings. I've seen how you look at her. Aquarion too. She's better off with me.", he said as he got up to leave. "Hey. It's her choice in the end. And you're just going to make her run away, or try to, if you keep acting this way. We should at least get to know her better before we try to pursue her. It's been barely a day and you're already after her. It's pathetic, really.", Aquarion replied to Leon. "Aquarion is right. She's not like the people you bring home. Stop treating her as such. Soon, you'll lose interest. And she'll be hurt. Or relieved. That's more likely. And we need to learn more about her before vying for her affection. I'm sure she would appreciate a warm bath, and cozy bed. Faye, Aquarion will show you to your room. Have a good night.", he said as he left.  Aquarion led Faye to her room, and stopped by her door. "Have a good night. I hope the room is to your liking. Goodnight.", he said as he left. Before he left he gently took her hand and kissed it. Faye went into her room and took a bath.  The bathroom was massive, and there were rose petals in her bath. It smelled like lavender. She relaxed and let all the stress of they day become a distant memory.
