I'm here in my room putting everything into a suitcase getting ready to leave to the airport. Well I'm really going to miss this place. I mean I grew up here its the only reason why I don't want to leave. I have a lot of memories here with my mom... And even my dad. I feel like if I leave I'd be leaving my dad too.

"Chase... Are you okay? " My mother asks concerned. "I'm fine mom."

"Are you sure? I can run to the store and-" oh mom. You've always been there for me and I don't think I could ever do anything to repay you. "Mom... I'm fine. Don't worry. I just.... I don't want to leave."

She looks at me relieved and put a hand to my cheek. "Believe me. I don't want to leave either but you know it's good to have a change of scenery and start something new"

"Your right mom. I'll give it a shot." I say and she smiles. "You've always been like your father. " Tears start to fill her eyes.

Silence fills the room.

"Well we should get ready. The plane is leaving soon. Do you have everything?" I immediately hug her.

"Yes I do." I tell her as she hugs me back.

At the airport.

After a few long hours on the plane we finally made it.

New York.

Right now me and my mother are waiting for her boyfriend or groom-to-be. After 10 mins of waiting a man appears with a sign in his hands that says

Christina Gray

I'm surprised he sent a limo to pick us up. Maybe this won't be so bad after all. On the way to his house, I watched all the buildings and the people we pass by. Hot dog stands, Museums, painters painting other people, and so much more I'm actually glad that I left.

"This is nice..." I say quietly to my mother. "I think you'll be more surprised when we get there." Where and what exactly does he live at?!

We arrive at what looks like a big white gate with the initials of J.S. Who is this guy... Before I could ask anymore questions we came out of the car and what stands before me is this beautiful enormous modern three story mansion.

Me and my mother stand in awe and say "Wow."
