Eren Jaeger - 19
The tall figure that was 'so called Eren' eyed you down. He had deep green eyes and dark brown hair that was tied up but still peaked out across his forehead and down his neck. He was probably the most attractive guy you've seen in this city so far.If you're being honest he looked pretty intimidating and you shifted under his gaze.
"Sure boss." Your manager walked away to deal with other stuff leaving you alone with the boy who leaned in front of you with his hands inside his pockets. "Alright newbie," He spoke walking to start your little lesson. You followed slowly behind him.
"This is how you work the cashier," he said demonstrating how all the switches work and you silently watched and memorized his directions. All the pastries and breads are in their each cabinet in alphabetical order. If you run out of anything there should more stored in the back room. The recipes for the drinks are all in this book, they're all pretty easy and simple so you'll be able to quickly memorize them. The teas are all on this top shelf, the sweeteners are on the right counter," he went on showing you where everything was. He taught you how the oven worked and you just took everything in nodding to everything he was telling you as response.
"Thank you...." You finally thanked him already forgetting his name. "Eren. Eren jaeger. And you're y/n." he read off your name tag. "If you need anything ill be in the back restocking the supplies," he dismissed himself.
It was your first day at Paradise Cafe. You just moved up to Paradise city and were in desperate need for a job to help support your extra college funds. This was actually your first job in your 18 years living, considering you didn't need one since you were always supported by your family, and you were pretty nervous because you knew you would continuously make a fool out of yourself for your clumsy trait. Paradise Cafe was short of staff so you managed to easily get the job as a barista.
You heard the door bell ring signifying a customer entered. "Good morning, welcome to Paradise Cafe," you greeted. "Hi, I'd like your bumble berry tea and a 2 lemon cookies please," the person ordered asking for the cafe's signature drink. The customer payed at the cashier and you told her to sit and wait for you to bring her items to her table.
You heat up the cookies and took them out placing them down on the tray. You fixed the drink up together accidentally giving yourself a paper cut on the tea packaging.
"Owe fuck!" You walked over to grab the sweetener ignoring the sharp pain of the paper cut. Suddenly you bumped into another tall stature and felt yourself start to unbalance and fall backward. Before you could fall back the person took ahold of your wrist pulling you back upward. "Shit my bad-"
