I ran to Annabeth. She had a sword pressed to her throat. Guess by who? Luke. Why would she take the sky from him? Maybe she still thought he was worth it.

Atlas starts persuading Thalia to call the Ophiotaurus to the pool he has. I know Thalia won't do it, she is nothing if not stubborn.

Artemis is doing her best to hold the sky, but even she can't do it for much longer. The sky is a heavy weight for anybody, even a titan. The sky is the most powerful couple trying to get back together, literally. Gaea and Ouranos are trying to reach each other by crushing earth and everything in it. For years Atlas bore the weight of the sky then Luke then Annabeth then Artemis. And now me.

I rushed over to Artemis. She was a goddess, the only one here. Only an olympian can defeat a Titan. I am one of the most powerful demigods and I can't defeat him. When I took the sky it was the most crushing weight I have ever felt. It was heavier than a thousand trucks.

Atlas was defeated. I was left on Mount Othrys with the sky in my hands. I could barely control it. No mortal can hold the sky for an extended length of time. I could.

I stayed there for what felt like ages. And maybe it was. Who knows what the gods were doing. Maybe they were just keeping me there until they needed me. Of course, why would the Olympians ever need me if they were so powerful that they could control people's lives like nobody's business.

I finally can't hold it any longer. The sky got too heavy for Percy Jackson. No one is there to take it from me as I fall from Mount Othrys. Somehow I fall into the pool. Oh the irony, the son of Poseidon falls into the pool for a mooing fish to die. As I die all I can see is the moon and my hair leeched white from decades holding the sky. Nothing can save me at this point, not even the water.
