2 Sun Breathing Demon Slayers

First demon encounter

(Shinra POV)
I'm glad that she's not sad anymore, she rest her small head on my shoulder while I was walking.
"Shinra-san"

"Hmm?" I hummed when she said my name

"Are demons real?" I stopped along the track noticing her shake a little.

"Why do you ask Naomi?"

"It's just that all my life when I'm by myself or when I'm walking with mama after gathering some herbs and the sun was setting I can feel something watching me and I keep thinking about what my grandmother used to tell me about those demons roaming at night looking for someone to eat"

"Naomi listen to me" as I made her look straight into my eyes.

"Yes they are real"

Naomi started shaking and she closed her eyes and started hugging me even more "I knew you would know and that you would believe me. I tell everyone that something is watching me and that it must be a demon but they all say it's just in my head or I'm making it up"

"I see..... well It's alright now Naomi-chan I'll protect you from that demon," I said to reassure her that everything was okay.
"And what do you mean that I would know?"

"Umm...I saw your katana and I thought you were either from either a gang or one of those demon hunters my grandma told me about and I guessed you were a demon hunter and I was right" she did a little smile

"Ah, I see"

"I'm sorry for looking" as she looked down thinking she was in trouble.

"Daijōbudesu Naomi-chan you're not in trouble," I said giving her a reassuring smile. "Yes, I slay demons although I just started." I looked at the sky and noticed that the sun was beginning to set so I quickly increased my pace letting her rest her head on my shoulder again.

"Say Naomi-chan"

"Hmm?" She sounded like she was falling asleep.

"Never mind you can sleep"

"Hai tou-san" and she slowly drifted off to sleep.

(Have you forgotten that you were still lost and that your sense of directions sucks)
"Wakatta wakatta no need for you to talk you, useless author"

'Now Naomi-chan said she fell from there so all I need to do is to climb up this hill, perfect' Shinra thought as he was about to leap on top of the hill, he reached the top to find a man a boy and a woman standing as if they just arrived.

"Eto, are you perhaps Naomi-chan's mother?" Shinra said while looking at the lady with fine clothing on her with a matching hat on her head,

"Hai!" As she started to run towards Naomi who was sleeping in shinra arms.

"Don't worry she had a few cuts and bruises but she's alright now, I disinfected her wounds and wrapped them up.

"Arigatōgozaimasu" as she bowed her head as she felt relieved to see her daughter alive and well
"Dōmo arigatōgozaimasu," she said again as she kept bowing her head

"No no it's alright I'm just lucky I found her before something worst happens to her" Naomi woke up and looked around to see her mother, her friend, and her friend's dad.

"Mama" Shinra lowered her down and she ran to her mother and hugged her then she started crying.

"Now now Naomi-chan it's alright now you can stop crying now mama is here" as her mother carcasses her face then hugged her

"Well, well I guess the big Naomi-chan is a little girl after all" I covered my mouth giving a teasing face.

Naomi pouted and started wiping away her tears and turned to Shinra
"I'm not crying anymore so I'm a big girl again"

"Again? So you do know that you are a little girl" everyone chuckled at her response but the little boy.

"Umm Naomi" she turned to the little boy
"Gomen it's because of me you got yourself hurt," he said as he bowed to apologize

"Daijōbudesu kito-Kun, I'm alright now I'm just lucky to have Shinra-san to help me" as she grabbed shinras hand.

Kito didn't like that she was grabbing shinras hand and he said

"Ca...can...i...i..h..ho" he took a deep breath in and said "Can I hold your hand instead" he shouted

Naomi blushed and she looked at Shinra and Shinra was looking at them (with a Lenny face)

Kito father saw this and he knelt down to kito
"Kito, when you ask for a girl's hand you do not shout at her like that" Shinra and Naomi's mother looked at kito and smiled.
"A gentleman would ask his lady for her hand in a polite way" he then winked at his little boy.

By then kito burned red as he heard his father say "his lady" he looked at Naomi and she was hiding behind Shinra's leg and she was blushing as well.

Kito father pat kito back as encouragement and he slowly walked towards Naomi
Shinra pulled Naomi to the front and she now faced to face with the young lad

"Na. Na...Naomi"

"Hai kito-kun"

Kito gulped and was trying to summon up the words in his head. He slapped his face and looked Naomi right in her eye.

"Naomi ca..ca" he stopped and took another deep breath

"Naomi I love you and I would like to ask if I can hold your hand while we walk home," he said as the sun has just setted

This shocked everyone even his dad as everyone expected him to ask her for her hand and not fully confess his feelings

"Hai kit".......

BOOM!!!!!!!!!

"HAHAHAHA YES YES VERY TOUCHING"

(No one POV)
A demon landed from the side causing everyone to turn their gaze upon a very hungry demon with a pale face and green hair smiling at them.

(Demon POV)
A few moments ago
"Arghh I finally found her but I can't seem to go near them as I can feel a deadly presence around. But I haven't eaten in a long time ever since I saw that little girl I can smell that she had marechi blood I can't let this girl go now not when I've been waiting all this time for her if I can get her he would give me more blood and I can fight against one of the 12 kizuki demons screw it I'm taking all of them out"

(No one POV)
(Present time)
"HAHAHAHA YES YES VERY TOUCHING," the demon said while staring at Naomi not realizing Shinra was there.

"HEY THERE CHAMP I'VE GOT AN OFFER FOR YOU" the demon turned his gaze towards kito with a smile

"YOU GIVE UP THE LITTLE GIRL AND I'LL LET YOU AND THE OTHER PEOPLE LEAVE HAHAHAHAHA"

Kito his father, Naomi, and her mother started to shake in fear and they all thought in their heads

'IS THIS A DEMON?'
