Chapter 12

F A Y E

I saw the light of the ball going in that direction. I hurriedly followed it. I got stuck in the middle of the crowd I saw a glimpse of the light ball that stopped in front of the crowd. I sigh in relief, I don't want to be reported missing on the first day of school.

I excuse myself as I walk past the crowd. I constantly bump with other students because they were closed to each other. I didn't know that being stuck in the crowd is much harder than fighting. I saw the end of the crowd. Just one step closer and I'm finally out of here.

'Finally, I got out I was surprised at the scene I saw in front of me. I saw two guys sparring. On the side theirs a girl cheering and another two girls talking to each other. I also saw a guy chattering with the quiet guy. I was about to take a glimpse at the other guy when I saw the light ball started to move again. I had no choice but to follow it.

I started to walk towards the light. It's safe since the light passed in the side a little bit farther than the guys who are sparring. I followed the pace of the light when I suddenly bump into someone. I was about to fall when someone holds my waist. I look at the person who saves me from falling to thank him but I was surprised when his grip tightened. Our eyes met and my heart begins to race fast and thump hard. I was suddenly filled with familiar emotions I can't name. I also saw something passed through his eyes but I didn't get enough time to read it as he turns his gaze away and he let go of my waist. We're interrupted when the guy chattering with the quiet guy earlier approaches us.

"Are you alright? I'm sorry I didn't notice that you were walking in that direction." He said while scratching his head looking apologetic. I glanced at the thing that I bump into and saw that it was a wall made of soil. I look at him again "It's fine I know you didn't mean to. Anyway you see I'm fine" I said with a smile. I saw him nodding hesitantly. He's pretty cute, he's like a puppy waiting for its owner to caresses its head.

I shrug my thought and face the guy who saves me. I bow my head a little and muttered my thanks. I remembered the light that I was following. I shook my head for forgetting about it.

"I should get going, thank you again" I hurriedly run towards the light without looking back. I touched my chest and I can still feel my heart thumping hard.

The light ball entered a huge elegant building so I followed her. I saw another person inside. She looks like a tour guide because of her formal suit. She suddenly smiled when she saw me so I also smiled at her. The light ball guides me towards her.

"You must be Ms.Crystal Heartwell?" I politely answered her with a nod. I saw her looking at me with shining eyes "Your so gorgeous Ms.Heartwell" I blushed slightly at her compliment and shyly tucked my hair in the back of my ears.

"Thank you for the compliment but please you can just call me Crystal, Ms." I look at her name in the pin attached to her brooch "Ms.Mayaih," I said

She nods her head a bit and smiles again "Then please do call me Aunt, you don't have to be formal" She said as she motions me to follow her. "I'm the guide in the girl's dormitory. The girls call me Auntie May here, well there are some exceptions." We head towards an elevator. " This is the east wing, this is where the girl's dormitory is located while the boy's dormitory is located in the west wing. In the central wing, the dormitory of royalties and high ranks students are located." I noticed that we stopped on the 6th floor of the building. She started walking so I followed her.

"Aunt?" I heard her hmm waiting for my question "Why didn't I see other students heading in their dormitories and yet I saw many students at the registration earlier."

"Ah, that was probably because students here were toured a month ago when they arrived. But usually, they can only register themselves on the first day of school." She glanced at me and continued "I think your case is a bit special because all students should have arrived here after they filled up the enrollment form." I awkwardly smiled at her and seems like she noticed it.

"Oh I'm sorry am I being too nosy?" I shake my head and was about to answer her when she stopped in front of a door. She turned to me "This will be your unit dorm, you also have a roommate so you won't be alone for your whole academic year." I thank her and she gave me few reminders that if I need anything I can ask her anytime. She requested a hug before she left so I agreed.

I inhaled deeply and check if I still look presentable. I fixed my hair a little before knocking at the door. No one answered so I tried again but there was still no reply. So I decided to just enter it with the key given by Auntie. I opened the door and I am amazed at the interiors of the room.

It may look small from the outside but if you enter the room is actually quite spacious. It has a mini living room and a small kitchen in the corner. It also has a small corridor with 2 doors facing opposite each other. I walked in towards the corridor and saw the door on the left side already has a written 'Snow' on the door. It's probably the name of my roommate. ' I wonder if we'll get along with each other.' I decided to set aside my thoughts and turn in the other room on the right side.

I figured out that it was my room because there's no written name on the door. I hold the doorknob of the door. I saw my first name slowly carving in the door 'Faye'. I fully opened the door and saw my favorite colors as the interior design. The walls are colored with lavender and black linings. The bed is colored with white and gold combination colors. There's a small refrigerator on the side. A study table. Two seated couches and a small table. The floor is also carpeted with black. I saw two other doors opened the first door and saw that it is a wide walk-in closet so I concluded that probably the other door leads to a bathroom.

I place my baggage temporarily in the walk-in closet. 'I'll just fix this later.' I felt tired and drain so I headed to the bed and let myself fall. I kind of bounced back because of the softness of my bed. I feel myself drifting into the darkness.

A small update for you guys!! I'm kind of busy with some things so I find it hard to update regularly but I'll try to update another chapter as soon as I can.
