Aftermath

I woke up in the hospital room. It was a personal on (thank god) and my crush, now that stuff with Leah was over, was asleep in the corner by the window. My heart almost skipped a beat. How had she found out? Either way I was happy to see a familiar face. I didn't want to wake her so I just plugged in my headphones and fell asleep. When I woke up, she was  holding my hand asleep with one of the headphones in her right ear. I took out mine and put an arm around her. She looks so beutiful. I thought. Her name is Victoria. She has dark brown hair with bright blue eyes. She was thin and one the nicest people in school. When she woke up she smiled at me, then began to cry. "Shh it's ok. It's okay hun. Shh" I told her as I rubbed her back. After crying a bit myself, she asked, "Why would you do this. Why would you hurt the people who love you?"  "I was hurt" I said looking away. " Can I show you something?  The other reason I'm here?" I slowly nodded as she pulled down her sleeve revealing seven cuts covered with the cloth they use to cover cuts. With teary eyes I picked up her wrist and kissed every single cut. Then I looked into her eyes slowly leaned forward and kissed her. I could tell I caught her off guard but slowly she kissed back with the same passion. I knew she felt the same way about me as I did her. After we came back she said with a smile on her face, "Did we just-" "Kiss? Ya" I said smiling as well. "So now we're - " Bofriend and girlfriend? I think so." For the next couple days she would come and visit. We'd just talked about things we like,dislike, pet peeves and more until the hospital released me. The next week we went out for sushi and went to the aquarium. We went to the gift shop and I bought her a stuffed penguin. Those next few weeks were the best weeks of my life.
