The morning announcement had woke you up from your peaceful slumber, annoying you as you dragged the (F/C) bedsheet over your head. 'Damn Monokubs...'

As the monitor had finally shut off, you let out a satisfied hum once the peaceful silence returned. Snuggling into your fluffy (F/C) pillow, you lowered the bedsheet frok your head and drifte-

Ding dong

("Aww man..."/ 'Oh for fucks sakes.') Whoever was behind the door must be impatient, as they continued to repeatedly ring the door bell. You stayed in your bed for a few moments before your patience ran thin and you slowly got up from your comfortable bed.

Dragging your feet across the floor, (you quickly wore your attire since you were sleeping in your (choice of night clothes)/ fixed your hair as you slept in your normal clothes) and got to the door with the person on the other side still spamming on your door bell.

"Hello-" "(N/N)! Good morning!" Immediately as you opened the door a little, Kaede wrapped her arms around you and pushed you foward.

"K-Kaede!! Uhm... G-Good morning to you too..." Stumbling back a little from the sudden hug, you hesitantly returned the gesture by patting her back, still a tad bit uncomfortable from the amount of affection she gave.

"How did you sleep? Any nightmares?" You shook your head 'no', letting your arms fall to your sides as she continued to engulf you in her side hugging. It's like you were some teddy bear, you're not complaining though. It's nice to have someone to hug from time to time, you're glad you finally got to experience that after so long.

"I-I slept well. S-So is there anything you need from me, Kaede?..."

"We wanted to talk to you, about the plan."

"...We?" You glanced at the opened door and realized Shuichi was standing there, waving at you shyly. "Oh... Shuichi. So what's the plan? A-And come inside, someone might get suspicious seeing you just standing outside my door like that."

"R-Right... So, I might know how to keep watch on the library." Shuichi said as he walked into your room, closing the door behind him.

"Weren't we planning on hiding inside the library and keeping watch from there?" Kaede asked, still clinging onto you like a koala.

"If we did that, we risk the mastermind running into us. It's safer to watch from further away. We also need hard evidence to convince everyone of the mastermind's identity... So that's why... I thought it might be a good idea to set up cameras" Shuichi explained.

"Cameras? Where would we get cameras?" Kaede questioned.

"I found some cameras and security sensors in the warehouse. With some modification, we could combine the two...... and have cameras that will detect the movement and take pictures. If we set up a few in the library, we can capture proof of the mastermind. And we don't have to be in the library for this to work, so we are less likely to get caught."

"That's... a really good idea, Shuichi." You gave him a soft smile, receiving a shy 'thank you' in return from the blushing detective.

"Yeah, it is... but do you know how to modify a camera?" Kaede asked.
