Chapter 13

Daniel had got the role of the prince and I was snow white.
DANIEL DIDNT EVEN AUDITION.
life is sooo unfair. But deep down I was sorta happy.
When I asked miss B how did he get the role without auditioning, she told me that Daniel had been her choice from the start. He was amazing at drama and even though he didn't audition, she knew that he was perfect for the role.
'PARTIALITY!!' I yelled in my mind.
Brian wasn't affected much. It was almost like he expected this.

"Ugh Nina I can't even face Dan for 2 minutes, how am I gonna face him for 2 hours in a day?" " I'm so forfeiting"

"Honey. Why don't you seize your opportunities? Your 15 now, you've gotta start taking your own decisions. I can't help you in this." Nina was using the guilt card on me. That's so not fair.

"I know but c'mon we both know that frankly I can't compete with those blonde curls"

"Your so insecure about everything sky. I don't like that about you." Nina wasn't wrong. I was damn insecure. I always had been. It was like a trait that I had inherited from my mom. She was a shy, insecure but beautiful women and I was a carbon copy of my mom.

"Okay Nina let's assume that I will be able to face Daniel for 2 hours a day for 7 days in a week for 3 months, that is possible. BUT NO WAY IN LIVING HELL IS HE KISSING MY LIPS AGAIN. if I have to play Snow White, then let Snow White die in her sleep, coz she ain't lettin no prince kiss them lips."

"Oh god my little drama queen, just go with the flow. " Nina giggled.

"Nahah the flow goes with me. "I smirked.

Nina and I were at my place watching 'easy a' and hogging on popcorn. Actually more than watching the movie we were talking about this. We both came to a conclusion that Daniel getting the role of the prince was good for me but I would go to miss b and tell her to change the scene where he was supposed to kiss me.

Suddenly the door bell rang
-tring tring-
"I'll open the door" I said while jumping out of my place.
Maybe it was the cute pizza boy, I thought and fixed my hair. I opened the door with a sweet smile. But soon my smile faded into a blank look.

"Now what?"i said in a harsh tone.

"Um could I please come in?" Daniel spoke in a hushed tone.

"I'm a little busy Daniel, maybe later..... Or never. " I almost pushed the door shut when Daniel stopped it with his hand and came in without my permission.
As soon as he came in, he shut the door behind and came towards me. I moved behind but was obstructed by a wall (damn you wall). Daniel came towards me and soon there was no place for me to move. I tried to squeeze my way out, but was at a disadvantage. So I folded my arms and decided to hear him out.

"Sky sorry yea, I'm very sorry. Please forgive me."
"You've not spoken to me in a month. I know I should've said something earlier but it all happened so fast....." Daniel held my hand.

"Uh-huh I-it's-s o-ok" the minute he touched my hand I couldn't think. I just wanted to get outta that place, and go back into my own bubble. I was nervous and blurted out the first thing that came to my mind. But frankly, it wasn't okay AT ALL.

"Seriously?" Daniels eyes sparkled.
"U-uh..." I opened my mouth but was interrupted.

"Way to go guys. But ps I'm still here. " Nina said while she munched on the popcorn.

"Sorry Nina "I used that as an opportunity to move away from Daniel.

"Nono please carry on, I was enjoying myself. " Nina smirked.

"Hi Nina, what's the happs?" Daniel smiled.
Nina jumped over the sofa, came near Daniel and smacked him over his head.

"Sorry no comprende, I don't speak asshole" Nina snuck out a piecing remark.

"calm down doll, I said I'm sorry and sky has also forgiven me. " Daniel said pointing to me.

"Oh is that so" Nina put her hands on her hips and sent me a glare.

"Uh ye-a-n-no" i was in a fit.

"Okay fine whatever Daniel, I'm sure you'll always remember this kindness offered by sky. You can go now. Sky and me were in the middle of an important discussion" Nina remained stern.

"Oh okay I'm sorry if I interrupted you guys. I'll be on my way. " Daniel said and walked towards the door.
"Uh sky I hope I'll be seeing you around more often from now. " He gave me a hopeful smile.
"Uh yea sure. "I couldn't turn that face down. Daniel smiled once more and left.

"UH YEA SURE? Sky what's wrong with you?" "Weren't we supposed to be mad at him?" Nina beamed in anger.

"Im sorry Nina but he just caught me by surprise." I defended myself.

"Shit man. Now what's done is done, we'll think of something. " Nina tapped my shoulder.

"The worst part is that now not only do I have to face him but I also have to pretend to have forgiven him. GOD REALLY HATES ME." I sighed.
