You were sure. You have never been happier in your whole life. You were lying in your bed looking beside you a beautiful pale face framed by long black hair. It was Lokis and your Honeymoon and today you wanted to start a journey through the nine realms. You were totally exited for that so you can't sleep anymore and because Loki seemed to sleep deeply you decided to take a walk. You changed your clothes grabbed your long coat and sneaked out of your chamber. Outside, cool fresh air brushed your face and the scent of a new day welcomed you. The flowers were still covered with hoar and dew as you walked through the Asgardian Garden, it was completely silence no one was awake or outside and you enjoyed it to be alone, to have a moment for yourself. As you sit down on a bench you heard a sound from far away.... at least you thought it was far away. You stood up to see what it was, maybe a small animal that was lost. But then suddenly something grabbed you from behind and covered your mouth and eyes. You were panicked and began to fidget, you tried to scream but it was useless instead something second grabbed your waist and you feel yourself slowly passing out, the grip was so tight and strong that you can't breathe anymore and everything got dark and silent.
{Lokis POV}
A few rays of light fell into the chamber and onto the bed where Loki was sleeping. He turned and twisted in the bed, he reached out for you but his hand couldn't find anything. Slightly panicked, he woke up and saw your empty side of the bed. He stood up and walked around the room, searching for you. "Y/N, love, are you here?" No response, "Y/N?" nothing. Then he saw your nightgown lying on the floor and noticed your coat was missing, so he realized you were out for a walk and immediately calmed down. He picked up your nightgown and inhaled your marvelous scent; he smiled and felt like the luckiest man in the world to be your husband. He remembered your wedding three days ago, the moment he saw you in your stunning wedding dress, how nervous he was when you walked toward him. He decided to take a shower until you came back.
When he was finished, you still weren't back and he began to worry and walked out of your chamber to see if you were in the palace. He asked a guard if he had seen you, "I'm sorry, Prince Loki, I haven't seen her, but maybe the guard over there..." He pointed to a guard at the end of the corridor, "He was on night duty." Loki walked over to him and asked him. He said that he had seen a young maiden in a long coat walking outside the palace toward the gardens, but that was several hours ago. Loki's eyes widened and he was filled with fear. He managed to thank the guard before his throat constricted. He ran to the gardens, desperately searching for you,
"Y/N! Y/N, are you here?" He came to the place with the bench and the beautiful flowers were still covered with hoarfrost and ice. "No... Please... please no! For Odin's sake... This can not be true..."
You heard a voice that seemed to come closer and turned into several voices, deep and rough; then you felt the hard ground under your body. Your body... tortured, powerless, everything hurt. You tried to move but noticed your wrists were bound, and when you opened your eyes everything was blurry. You blinked to get a clear view but your eyes couldn't focus. 'what is going on here?' you thought, 'Where am I? Who were those voices?' Nearby you heard a loud voice say,
"I think she's awake! Shall we bring her to him?" you heard footsteps as another creature came closer. Something like an icy foot kicked you in the stomach and you cried out in pain.
"Yeah, she's awake. Bring her to our King!" the creature spat. Two strong, frozen hands grabbed your arms roughly after they untied you. They dragged you to a huge hall where there were even more of those giant creatures. Slowly your eyes and your mind cleared and your senses returned but you were not sure if that was a good or bad thing because now you could feel every wound, every bruise, every scar, and you had a lot of them. The two giants smashed you on the ground in front of a big ice throne on which another giant sat. He observed you with red, shining, almost hungry eyes. He was the King, you guessed.
"Ah! There we go, lady Y/N." His booming voice echoed in your head,
"Who... who are you? What do you want from me?" You whimpered. The giant stood up and walked toward you.
"I am Laufey, King of Jotunheim, and ruler of the Frost Giants." Your eyes widened, now you recognized him... Laufey... Loki's biological father and enemy of Asgard. What could he want with you? Sure you are Loki's wife, but Laufey was never interested in his son. He was a dwarf of a Frost Giant, so small for his race, and not worthy to be the next king of Jotunheim, so what did Laufey want from you?
"You are very beautiful, Y/N, it seems as if my unworthy son has at last done something right," Laufey mocked.
"Don't you dare talk about him!" You shouted in disgust. The next thing you knew, your head snapped to the side as Laufey's huge hand slammed across your face and you felt the most intense pain you had ever felt in your entire life. You fell to the ground and cried. "What do you want from me?" you screamed as hot tears streamed down your red, bloodied face.
"I have no worthy heir, but I need one and you seem perfect for this service."
"No... no, no, please!" You cried desperately, but Laufey just laughed.
"Everyone leave. Leave!" Laufey screamed at the other Frost Giants. "I need some time alone with her!" All the fronts giants left the hall and you were alone with him. He turned back to you and grabbed your hair to lift your head, crouching so he could look you straight in the eyes. "Maybe it will hurt and maybe you won't survive, but you're worth a try."
Loki ran straight to the Bifrost, he knew what had happened and he knew he needed to hurry.
"Prince Loki, you are not allowed to pass. Odin has ordered me not to let anyone pass through the Bifrost." Heimdall said.
"Heimdall you can see everything, so you know exactly why I need to pass... and aren't you interested in how the Frost Giants managed to keep out of your sight?" Loki urged. Heimdall swallowed, of course he was interested but he couldn't resist the command of his King. "Heimdall, please... I don't know Laufey's plan, but I need to save Y/N. Please understand... I... I couldn't live without her." He begged, tears filling his eyes.
Heimdall took pity on him, nodding silently; Loki understood and breathed a sigh of relief. Heimdall pushed his sword into the machinery of the Bifrost and Loki closed his eyes, inhaling the Asgardian air. When he opened his eyes again, he stood on an icy ledge and saw the palace, taking care not to be seen by the Frost Giants. He felt his anger build up and he was ready to unload mercilessly.
He managed to sneak into the palace and searched for the throne room where he suspected you were being held. He used his magic to camouflage himself, and walked through the palace, looking like any other Jotun. He approached a set of large doors sure they opened into the throne room, when he heard screams... your screams. He ran to the doors but he was stopped by two other Frost Giants who threw him backward to the ground, "How dare you disturb our King!" one of them shouted "Who are you?" the other asked. Loki looked around; no one else was in the corridor. Then, lightning fast, Loki jumped up, pulled out his dagger and slit the throat of the first guard, the second immediately pounced on Loki, but Loki disappeared - it was an illusion, instead the real Loki knocked him out from behind. As the two giants lay on the ground, Loki turned back to the door; using his magic, he broke it down and looked into the hall.
Laufey had ripped off your dress, he grabbed your wrists and was holding them over your head, you couldn't defend yourself. You screamed for help, begged for mercy, but you knew it was useless. Without someone to stop him, Laufey would rape you. He pushed you against the wall, your face pressed to the cold ice, and readied himself to thrust into you as you heard a familiar voice from behind, yelling at Laufey,
"If you dare touch her any further, I swear to Odin, I will rip you apart and feed you to the ice monsters. Let her go now, or you will suffer!" Laufey turned around furiously, distracted enough you were able to twist out of his grip, though you didn't make it far. Using his magic, he let grow a chunk of ice, right in front of your feet, tripping you, sending you to the cold hard ground. You were immediately engulfed in a layer of thick ice, covering your naked body up to your neck You were bound to the ground.
"No!" Loki screamed, attacking Laufey with all the magic, passion, and rage he possessed, but Laufey easily threw him to the ground.
"You puny, shameful piece of garbage. Unworthy to be king. Unworthy to live. I should have killed you before you first drew breath!" Laufey spat, leaning over Loki. Tears ran down your still bloody face as you heard Laufey's words,
"Do not talk to him like that!" You shout. Laufey quiets you by covering you in a small avalanche of ice and snow. Loki's eyes widen and he discreetly unsheathes his small dagger, slicing the King across his face. Laufey then grabbed him by the throat and pressed...
Loki tried to fight back but it was useless. He felt himself drifting into unconsciousness, Laufey and his guards standing around him, watching the scene in perverted amusement. Laufey raised his free hand, formed an icy dagger from his palm, and brought it down on Loki.
Before the dagger could touch Loki, a huge lights flash hit Laufey freeing Loki from his grasp. The whole hall was lit up and from everywhere Warriors appeared. Asgardian warriors. Laufey cried out in frustration and Loki saw him take another hit, this time by a hammer. Thor appeared in front of Loki.
"Go help Y/N, brother! Everything is under contro-". Thor was cut off by a blow from a Frost Giant, but with a swing of his hammer, he cut the giant down. Loki stood up, rushed straight to you, and hastily began shoveling away the snow to find your stiff, frozen body,
"Y/N! Y/N, please... please look at me, my love... please wake up..." He cupped your face and stroked your cheeks and hair while tears burned his cheeks. Your whole body was still covered by a thick layer of ice and Loki worked to melt it with his magic. He stripped off his cape and wrapped you in the emerald green fabric to cover your naked body and give you warmth. "Oh Y/N please wake up..." he felt your pulse through his cape, it was weak but it was there. He took you up bridal style and screamed to Thor who was still fighting, "Thor I need to take her to Asgard immediately!"
"Yes, Heimdall is waiting for you! Go! We will take care of this! Go!" Thor urged. Loki nodded and looked up until a strong bright light covered you two. As you were carried home, he could hear Laufey's screamed curses.
Frigga stood beside Heimdall as you returned to Asgard. "Come Loki, hurry up. The healers have already prepared everything." Frigga said; Loki, holding you tight to him, rushed you across the rainbow bridge straight to the palace. The healers immediately set to work and brought you to the healing room, separating you from Loki. He stood back, alone, feeling lost. A few tears dropped down his face as Frigga came closer and took him into her embrace, he cried quietly into her shoulder as she held him tight. " She will make it, she is strong. You just have to believe in her Loki. She needs your support now more than ever. She needs you." Loki calmed down a bit and looked at his mother,
"Thank you." He whispered, kissing her cheek, then left her to meet you in the healing room.
Weeks had passed and there was no sign that you would wake up. You had endured extreme temperatures and your body was severely hypothermic, but you lived. Loki was by your side, day and night; he talked to you, held your hand, watched over you, hoping every day you would wake up. Thor and the Warriors had assured Loki that Laufey was powerless, but Loki was not interested, all that mattered to him, was you.
You heard and felt everything that happened around you but your body would not move, it was like a fight with yourself. You wanted to wake up, to tell Loki that you loved him, to kiss him; you wanted him to stop crying about you and to stop worrying. You wanted to move but your tortured body refused to obey you, it was a horrible feeling. This helplessness... it was unbearable.
One day you were listening as one of the healers explained to Loki that it seemed useless to wait until you would wake up. You heard Loki sniff as he began to cry and you screamed inwardly. 'I'm alive! I am still alive! Don't give up on me Loki, please!'
The healer left the room and Loki grabbed your hand and squeezed it tight,
"Y/N, please... give me a sign that you're alive... just a little hint..." but your body didn't move. His head sank down to your lap and he sobbed. Then, after a few minutes he forced himself to calm down; he got up, pressed a kiss to your forehead and said, "I love you. I have always loved you, and I always will... goodbye, my love." He let go of your hand and turned to leave.
Throughout your body you felt pure desperation. You wanted to cry, you wanted to stop him, you wanted to move... and finally, you did. You noticed that you could raise one finger and your consciousness slowly returned. You tried once more to open your heavy eyes, and though the brightness was assaulting and your vision was blurry, you forced yourself to keep your eyes open.
You wanted to say something to make Loki stop but you were too weak to talk. You panicked. How could you stop him? You noticed a flower vase at your elbow. You once again gathered up all of your strength, just enough to lift your arm onto the table and manage to upend the vase; you sent it to the floor, shattering it with a loud crash. Loki turned around, "Y/N?" no response. Of course not. Then he saw the broken vase, shimmering pieces of glass still skittering across the stone floor as he came closer to your bed. A single tear rolled down your cheek as you saw him coming closer to you. When he saw you were awake he rushed to you, "Y/N, you're awake! Oh, I thought I'd lost you, my love!" tears were streaming down his face as he took your hands in his and leaned his forehead against yours. You couldn't hold back your tears any longer, but now they were tears of joy and relief. Loki kissed your forehead, then your nose, and finally your lips, "I love you, Y/N," He whispered, "and I always will."
