Ch. 1

Lilac POV

"Hng!- Ngh!- It hurts so bad.." I looked at my arms and legs covered in slits. I watched the concrete below me become painted in crimson red. I used my remaining strength to look forwards. "Is that...Akademi..?" My vision became hazy, causing me to fall to my knees. "Ngh!- Goddamnit!- Please...Let me stay awake..." I hit the ground with a loud thud as I watch blood pour out of my out of my arms. That was the last thing I saw before blacking out.

Umeji POV

I was walking to the dumbass school called Akademi with my friends, Hayanari, Hokuto, Gaku, and Dairoku. As we were walking up to the school we saw a girl that looked about our age laying in a pool of blood with slits covering her arms and legs. She was also wearing a very distinct kitsune mask completely covering her face. Gaku muttered, "Yo what the fuck..Is...Is she alive..?" I said, "I'm not sure..." I cautiously walked over to this random girl and knelt down next to her. I hesitantly placed my hand between her breasts and felt her heart beating. Knowing she was alive I quickly recoiled my hand from her chest area just out of respect. My friends walked over to me and Hokuto said, "Well?" I said, "She's alive, just horribly fuckin hurt." Gaku asked, "Should we bring her to the infirmary?" Hayanari said, "No bitch, we should leave her here to bleed to death, dumbass" Gaku just glared at him and I said, "Shut it you fools, I'll bring her to the infirmary and you morons can tell the teachers why the fuck I'll look like I just killed someone." I picked her up and she was surprisingly light, lighter then I though she would be. Her bleeding arms covered my uniform jacket and golden yellow shirt in red. The others had already ran into the school and I did the same and ran to the infirmary. The teacher said, "Yes how may I help you- AH!" She stared in horror at the scene in front of her, an unconscious female in my arms covered in blood along with the person holding her, me also being covered in blood. She said panicked, "P-Put her down on one of the beds and go get changed!" I let out a 'tsk' and put her down before shoving my hands into my pockets then walked out of the infirmary. I was walking towards the changing rooms and any passing students looked traumatized. Anyone that stared to long I gave a death glare and kept walking. I walked in the shower and changed into a extra uniform that I had. I walked back to the infirmary and pulled up a chair next to this girl waiting for her to wake up. I mumbled, "She's still wearing that stupid mask huh?" "Well Damn, Bitch"

 I jumped slightly and looked over at the bed. "You were AWAKE?!" She let out a 'Tsk' and said, "I just woke up, stop yelling in my ears, the hell" I said, "You've got some nerve talking like that to the one that saved your sorry ass" She said, "Huh? You what?" I scoffed and said, "Just in case you didn't hear me I saved you after me and my friends saw you bleeding out on school grounds." "Ahem, Thank you.." I just rolled my eyes and we sat in awkward silence for a few minutes. She said, "Oh! Where are my manners? I'm Lilac Shisuta! What's your name?" I thought, 'Cheerful for someone that could've died' I said, "Umeji Kizuguchi" "Huh?" "Are you fuckin' stupid? Umeji Kizuguchi, that's my name." She laughed and muttered a slight apology for the misunderstanding. I said, "Take off that dumbass mask" She very bluntly said, "No." I wasn't used to hearing the word no since people are terrified of me and the boys. "It's my mask and I'm aloud to wear it if I want to, try to rip it off my face and I will bite you." I said, "You're a bold one aren't you?" She said, "Like all my friends tell me, I'm probably the most shameless person you will ever meet." She broke the silence with, "Where's the nearest bathroom?" I said, "Out the door, straight right" "Thanks" She got up, stumbling slightly and hissing in pain before walking out of the infirmary. I said, "She's an interesting one." After about five minutes she came back and sat on the bed facing me. "Hey uh-" I looked at her and said, "What?" "Thanks for helping me! I owe you one!" I scoffed and said, "Whatever." The nurse walked in and said, "All right Hon, since you can walk relatively well, you will be placed in Umeji's class." "What!?" "Excuse me!?" Me and Lilac said at the same time, "I'm not getting stuck with her!" "I'm not getting stuck with him!" She sighed and gave her a female Akademi uniform. "Lilac, go change in the bathroom, I swear, you two are a match made in heaven." She sounded irritated, "Excuse me!?" A light blush formed on my cheeks as I growled under my breath. She snatched the uniform and walked off to the bathroom grumbling to herself. After about two minutes she came back wearing the white Akademi short-sleeved shirt, with the blue and red ribbon hanging from her neck. Tightly hugging her waist was the navy, pale blue skirt that went with the uniform, which was uncomfortably short. Carefully placed on her hands was white fishnet gloves and on her legs, a matching pair of lase panty-hoes along with the uniform's indoor shoes, while still wearing the kitsune mask. The nurse said, "Now Umeji take Lilac to your classroom, class is about to start in five minutes." I grabbed her forearm and dragged her out of the infirmary, causing her to yelp in pain.

 On the way to the class I mumbled, "I can't believe I'm getting stuck with you.." She scoffed and said, "Honey, if you think I'm thrilled to be placed with you, you are sorely mistaken." I rolled my eyes and shoved my hands into my pockets. I pulled open the door and I walked in with her behind me. I went and plopped down in my seat grumbling to myself.

Lilac POV

The sensei looked at me and said, "Oh! Hello! You're Lilac Shisuta, correct? I smiled and said, "Yes! That's me!" She said, "Now, before we continue please remove your mask as you can't wear them during class time." I sighed and said, "Yes Ma'am..." I pulled the mask off my head, it struggling for a second as my curly hair was wrapped around the strap. I watched the facial expressions of everyone change. There was mostly blushes from the boys and awestruck ones from the girls. I handed the mask to the sensei and she said, "Don't worry! You can have it back after class. You can sit next to Akane Toriyasu, Akane, please raise your hand." A girl with mid-length strawberry red hair, who was wearing a white blazer with a red bow-tie and a white skirt, both with red trim raised her hand. I walked over to her, feeling all eyes on me. I sat down next to Akane and she said, "Hello! You're very pretty!" I smiled and said, "Thank you! You are too!" The sensei said, "Anyway back to the math, anyone know the answer to number 7?" The class was silent that even a pin being dropped could be heard. I grabbed a marker off the floor and pulled off the cap with my teeth. I spit out the cap and it landed on my desk. Since I didn't have a paper I started quickly writing on my hand. "Is the answer 23 to the 3rd power?" She smiled and said, "Yes! Can you show your work?" I blinked twice and said, "Uh- No- Because since I don't have a paper I wrote on my hand-" She laughed and said, "Well the answer was right and go wash your hands whenever." I put on some hand sanitizer and watched the black numbers disappear. After about ten minutes the bell rang and the sensei said, "And that's the bell! Have a good lunch everyone!" I stood up and cracked my back before smiling at Akane. She said, "Sorry hon, but I need to get back to my student council duties." I asked, "Well, can I come with you? It'll give me an opportunity to see the school!" She thought for a second and said, "Why not! Let's go!" I said beaming, "This is going to be so much fun!" We walked down a few flights of stairs before reaching the bottom floor. She said, "I look around all the clubs to make sure everything is in check." I looked up and saw a sign that said, 'Cooking club' "Huh, sounds fun!" I looked in through one of the windows and saw five people working a variety of foods. I walked in with Akane and without my knowledge all attention had been turned to me. She said, "Looks good! Next club!" I started walking out with her but was stopped by a grip on my wrist. I turned towards the source of the grip. "Yes? How may I help you?" I watched the male's face become painted in bright pink as he stared at me. "Hi! I'm Shoku Tsuburaya! Would you like to try some of our recipes?" In a second I was surrounded people holding trays of food. I said, "Well I guess it wouldn't hurt." 

My eyes sparked as a flavor bomb exploded in my mouth. "This is delicious! The cupcake is soft and the icing is full of flavor! I've always had a sweet tooth so thank you for giving me the opportunity to taste your desserts!" Shoku said, 'Well, then we can bake you a new dessert whenever you ask!" I sputtered in response, "N-No! Please don't feel the need to waste your time on me!" He said, "It's not a waste! Please, come see us anytime!" Akane yelled, "Lilac! You coming? I'm heading to the second floor!" I ran out of the cooking club and yelled, "I'm coming Akane!"
