Song of the Chapter: Deceptacon - Le Tigre

3rd Person Pov

Note: Everything said in this chapter is Japanese with an exception of the video

"Dud, dud, dud."A tired, rough voice hummed to himself, clicking away at the requests from students. 'What do some of these people even think? I mean, being a hero is a good thing, but some of them are just asking for death.' He thought as he went for the decline button before going to the next. He was in charge of the requests from different agencies and heroes, be in or out of Japan. Of course, it was striating, but what wasn't at this point?

Stopping for a moment and reading the request out loud in a bored, uninteresting tone, "Katherine..Ra- Now what does that say." Squinting his eyes and getting closer to the screen that read out "Katherine Randazzo". "Okay, another foreign one. Hmm, class 1b decided to opt for an American transfer, so why not see who this person is." He mumbled to himself, taking a sip of his coffee.

"Quirk:Water Cycle. Can manipulate any form of the water cycle, including things that have any of the forms. Examples: Plants at times and blood if exposed." He hummed at the progress through middle school, then stopping when the progress stopped after eighth grade. He looked around, confused, then came upon a note at the end about changes in schedule after an accident. " 'Though not being effected physically, she's still facing mental trauma as well as other issues.' Hmm. How is she doing now? Ah, right there. 'Recently, she has gotten better after some spotting and is training. Requiring school work, due to other personal vendettas, outside parties chose it would be smart to put her into home schooling until high school begins.' "

There's a small pause. It didn't seem like there was anything special about the student. Sure, she had skills with her quirk and had other skills regarding regular school and heroing, but the struggles with mental stability. Sure, not all heroes were perfect in that aspect, but not so much we had to isolate ourselves, or whatever they did. Groaning at the decision, someone politely knocked on the door, making the man's head of long dark hair move upwards. "Come in."

Good Morning, Aizawa! How's the requests going?" The chipper voice asked as the small creature came through the door and closing it neatly.

"As usual, only this one student is really pushing my buttons." He groaned at the screen. The other's ears twitched and turned around curiously.

"You're having troubles picking who gets to learn here? Surprising." Nezu happily walked over to the desk, hopping onto the open area on the chair and looking at the request. "She looks like she would be a good aspect, what do you think the problem is?"

"This." He said gruffly, scrolling to the bottom and highlighting a bit. "Home schooling isn't very good for heroing since it's very social, plus we don't know what the personal reason is. Mentality and stability during a fight is very important and we can't have one of our trainees passing out because of something they can't help."

"Well, I think you're just being closed minded." Nezu commented, scrolling to the other information. "Let's see, let's- Aha! Here! A video! Let's see what your soon to be student will be like!" Nezu, of all people?, he's not a person never mind, liked student requests. He thinks it's a way of people showing that they believed that u.a. can help "amazing young heroes", as Nezu calls them. Some call is enjoyable and inspiring, some call is filler and annoying.

The video consisted of a voice speaking in some other language with Japanese subtitles. It read, 'Hello, this is an outside person from the fight in front. I am a sort of support for Katherine and her studies. I am also the one that made this and I got permission from her as well. I am sorry if the subtitles are off, I have been studying. Thank you very much.'

"She might not know Japanese, Nezu." He mumbled as the camera is adjusted to an already intense fight. The girl from the profile was going at it with another man that was a bit older than her, maybe in his mid-twenties.

From the actions in the video, the man appeared to have a self-multiplication quirk, creating multiple versions of himself to fight the aspiring trainee. It also seemed like there were many different types of blades and swords used when fighting, Katherine using sharp ones made out of ice. The fight was long for a demonstration video, but it showed more than needed for a student request. It was hard for them to look away, skills being unleashed without knowing and fighting techniques that they didn't even know students would learn to get into u.a. In the end, the guy was eventually defeated, laying on the floor and panting. The girl helped him up with a smile and the screen went black.

The pairs of eyes were widened, shocked by the udder training that she had to go through to get to that level. Their eyes quickly focused back to the screen when the text came back. It read, 'Katherine worked very hard and would like to work with you if you would accept. Thank you for watching and all contact information with me in below.'

"hOLY SHIT! THAT WAS FUCKING AWESOME!" A loud voice boomed through the back door. The two already knew who it was, not bothering with turning around.

"Morning, Yamada." The black haired man groaned, rubbing his eyes tiredly. "G'morning, Aizawa, Nezu. But anyway, are you gonna except??? You'd be crazy not to!" His excitable voice bursted, making Aizawa sigh.

"I don't know.." Making Nezu's head turn to him, Aizawa took his hand away and stated. "We don't know if she knows Japanese, and even if she knew English she could attend. We don't know who was behind the camera. The profile was oddly worded at some parts." He grumbled. "I just don't know if it's a good idea."

"That is understandable, Aizawa." Nezu intertwined. "But she does seem capable and knowing all of those techniques and reflecting would be amazing for us. Plus it seems like she cared about the person she was fighting by not just leaving him in the dust. She would be a good aspect for us and if she doesn't seem that way we think, then we'll do what has to be done depending on the situation. Understood?" He jumped off of the chair and looked up at the two, one with an excited expression, the other slumping slightly with a straight face.

He groaned. "Fine. I'll contact the person behind the camera and see what's happening." The other two smiled and made their ways out. Sighing and looking back at the profile, Aizawa commented before pressing the accept button, "You better not let us down."
