Hunted

Prologue

"Tonight is gonna be long" one man says "yep, you got that right." The other man says. "Wait did you hear that" the man says "hear wha-" the man was cut of by a knife in this throat "AHH-" the other man was cut off by getting shoot in the head.

"I told you not to over do it, you got injured during our last job." A small boy says with purple hair "I'll do what I want." A girl says with blond hair. "But what if you reopen your wound?" The boy says worriedly "Shut up and let's just end this job" the girl says with frustration.

"Alright our target is though those doors, but as you can see there is guards" the girl says. The boy pull out his pistol and the girl does the same, they look at each other and nod. They shoot and kill the three guards. They look at each other when look at the door. "Should I use it?" The boy asks "yes since we will leave right after anyways. They open the door and it creaks open, they walk in and shut the door after them.

"My my to think the strongest and most popular mercenaries are after me" a man says turning around to face them. "Let me think who would do this, the police?, my enemies?, the detectives after me?" He says questioning it. "I don't think it matters" the boy says. "Oh I think it does Alexander, and what about Angelica?" He says but she doesn't respond. "We are just here to kill you for the horrible things you have done" Alexander says angrily. The man slams on the table "they got in my way so all I did is get rid of them" he says yelling at them "KILLING FAMILIES THAT HAD NOTHING TO DO WITH YOU?!" Alexander yells back at him. "Oh you talking about that" the man starts to grin "I just wanted to have fun" he says laughing. "Alexander, do it now" Angelica says still looking at the man. "Alright" he says pulling out a glove and puts it on his right hand. "What are you going to do with that? Slap me?" The man says laughing even more. "Oh you'll see" Angelica says narrowing her eyes. Alexander snaps his fingers and a tiny flame forms on his index finger. He breaths in and blows out like a dragon and sets the room ablaze. The man that was laughing was soon screaming for help, but after a while he stopped. "Alright let's go" Angelica says. They open the door and walk out, closing the door to burning room.

"Nicely done you two. For how young you are, you did well" the woman says handing them a thick envelope "just for the money" Angelica says grabbing the envelope opening. "For what he did, it's what he deserves" Alexander says angrily. "Well we will give you a call if we need you again" the women says smiling. They nod "alright let's go Alex" Angelica says walking to the door. Alexander bows to their employer and runs after Angelica.

"She was nice huh" Alexander says to Angelica but she ignores him. "We got 450 dollars from this job." She says turning to him but he wasn't there. "Alex, where did you go?" She says looking for him and then spots him. "What are you doing?" She asks "there is a kitten and she seems hurt" he says "ah I got her" he say pulling out the small black tortoiseshell kitten. "She seems to small for a kitten" Angelica stated "that's why I pulled her out, so I thought she might have been a runt and left behind." Alexander says. "Well what should we name her?" He asks her "how about daisy? It suits her doesn't it?" She says. The kitten meows in delight and they both start to laugh and walk home.
