"You don't need to walk me home Oikawa-san" Kageyama said.
"I want to though, and I already told you to call me Tooru. It would be more believable if we refer to each other by our given names, like me calling you Tobio" Oikawa walked with Kageyama to the ravenette's house.
"Okay" was Kageyama's simple response.
The two walked on awkward silence, neither knew what else to say.
"Uhhh" Kageyama trailed on.
"Did you enjoy our date Tobio-chan?" Oikawa pulled Kageyama close to him, leaning down he whispered in Tobio's ear. "Don't look behind but your ex is following us"
He straightened up. "Well Tobio-chan? Did you like your steak?"

Mei had finally caught up to the two. She made sure to keep a reasonable distance so as to not arouse suspicion but also to be able to hear bits and pieces of their conversation.
"---other by our given names, like me calling you Tobio" she barely heard Oikawa.
She ducked behind a bush when Oikawa looked over his shoulder.
It wasn't like she was doing anything wrong. After all she did tell Kageyama she is to witness them dating, so she didn't necessarily had to hide. But, she still did anyway out of habit because back when she was dating Kageyama she used to secretly follow him around to make sure he was really going to this place or that, or if he was with someone she approved of.
She was just being a protective girlfriend.
And now she's being a concerned good friend.
After all! What if Kageyama was wrong about Oikawa? What if Oikawa wasn't really good enough for her ex? She's just making sure he wasn't secretly a shady person behind people's backs after all.
That's what any rational person would do!
She followed them until they reached Kageyama's house. Mei decided that it was enough and she should go home, she still had to wake up very early to prepare for the surprise for Tobio tomorrow after all.
She lingered a bit, watching Oikawa pinch Tobio's cheeks and the boy swatting his hand away, causing Oikawa to laugh.
Cute. She had to admit, they looked adorable together.
And with that last thought she went to the direction of home.
______________
"Good night Tobio-chan" Tooru said, pinching both of Tobio's cheeks. The boy slapped his hands away, making him laugh. Tobio bit the inside of his cheek to prevent himself from pouting.
"Good night Oika--Tooru?" Saying first name was foreign to Tobio, but surprisingly he really liked it.
Tooru didn't leave until Tobio was inside, had shut all the blinds, and locked the door. He watched Tobio go up to his room on the second floor, and then turned off the lights. That was when Tooru decided to go home.

The next day Tobio woke up a bit later than usual. He rushed to the bathroom and wasn't able to enjoy his shower, had to skip and had to run into the streets with a piece of toast in his mouth.
When he arrives at the gates however he was surprised to find Hinata and Tsukishima standing there seeming to be waiting for him.
"Kageyama!" Hinata waves at him, an awaked smile on his face and holding a pink flyer.
"Have you been waiting for me?" Kageyama stopped in front of his orange haired friend.
"Alright he's here now, let's go" Tsukishima went to drag Hinata away but then Shoyo handed Tobio the flyer.
Kageyama read it
Support this beautiful gay couple!!!
Kageyama Tobio x Oikawa Tooru!
Oikage ship!
🏳️🌈Support the Gay! 🏳️🌈Kageyama read it and re-read it just to make sure. "What the hell IS THIS?!" He yells pointing at the flyer.
"Your girlfriend-" Tsukishima started
"Ex girlfriend" Tobio corrected.
"-is giving them to everyone in the school" Shoyo finished.
Kageyama crumpled the flyer and tossed it to a trash bin. His whole face turned bright red, making him resemble a tomato.
"That's nothing compared to what she's done to the school" Tsukishima said already walking up to the entrance. "What do you mean?" Tobio asked, following the couple. "See for yourself" Shoyo said, pushing open the doors revealing the inside.
In the middle of the hall was a giant banner that says
Vote for Sexual Diversity! Support Gay Rights!
And the walls were lined with various flags representing different sexualities. The ground had little pink confetti all over, and there was Mei in the center slapping a rainbow colored badge on the chest of a guy passing by.
When Mei saw them she waved eagerly. "Good morning Tobio-kun! You too Hinata-kun, Tsukishima-kun!"
Mei skipped towards them, and Kageyama saw that on her shirt read OIKAGE!!! with rainbow hearts all over.
Kageyama felt sick.
"Ta-da! Do you like it?" She spun around, showing off her shirt. "I printed this myself! I'm showing my support for you!"
"That's..." Really, Kageyama needed to lay down. "Great?" He gave her a tight lipped smile. "But Mei what you're doing is-"
He was intterupted by an announcement.
"Kageyama Tobio please come to the vice principal's office at once!"
Kageyama thought this day couldn't possibly get any worse.
