Hey, my name's Dylan.
As you probably already know I have four brothers. From youngest to oldest, it's Daniel who, although he's only eight, is probably one of the smartest kids I have ever known. He doesn't speak much, unless he's talking to me. He's got my dad's straight blonde hair and stormy grey eyes, which rarely have emotion. Next is Jackson, he's Daniel's twin. They look the same but are total opposites. Daniel is practically mute while Jackson never shuts up. Then comes Eli, he's my fraternal twin. Although I've got unruly curly brown hair, his curls seem as thought they came from a magazine. But, we both have my mother's beautiful green eyes. Last, but not least, is Noah. He's 16, and one of the most handsome people I know. He looks like a bigger version of Eli.
Now, my relationship with my brothers isn't the usual "Ew, I hate you!" thing. We are all nice to one another, because we have to take care of eachother. My dad, isn't the greatest dad in the world. Actually, he's probably the worst. Let's just say he likes alchohol a little bit too much, and doesn't realize it. That's why my mom left, and apparently didn't want to take us with her. Since I'm the only other girl, he took it out on me, an thinking I convinced our mom to leave. I have the scars to prove it.
But I do have a secret. You see, I have talents, but they aren't normal. When I sing, I can control things. Like the "mythical mermaids" if you will. And have you ever seen that episode of Spongebob when he draws another version of himself and he comes to life? Yeah, that's me too. Except when my drawings come to life they aren't evil... unless I want them to be.

Here I am.
Walking to school.
A.K.A. my personal hell-hole.Thank GOD, I have Brayden. He's been my best friend since Kindergarten. We've walked to school together everyday since then. He's the only person besides Daniel that knows about my powers.
"Dylan? DYLAN!" Brayden shouts in my ear.
"Huh? What?" I stammered.
"You're zoning out again."
"Oh, crap, sorry," I mumbled. "Daniel wasn't feeling good last night. He was up puking for most of it, so I didn't sleep a wink."
Brayden sets his jaw, trying not to let his anger get the best of him. "I wish your dad would get off his lazy ass and actually help you guys out for once. At least you have Noah and Eli."
"Yes, because Noah and Eli will totally stay up until 3 am with me, trying to make sure Daniel doesn't puke all over the sheets," I say sarcastically.
Brayden laughs and says, "Very true. Touché."
I swear, he's like the Incredible Hulk, one minute he's furious and then he calms down at my jokes. It makes me feel special, but the good way, not the way my powers make me feel. They just make me feel like people can sense them and that's why they're such jerks to me.
We arrive at the school, where Brayden and I have to separate. Sadly, he's not in any of my classes except for 9th hour.
"Try not to kill anyone while I'm gone, k? No evil drawings, got it?" he jokes.
"I'll be planning my alibi in English." I salute him and walk to my first period class; gym class.
