~Chapter Three~

.....The final line was the hardest nothing added up, nothing made sense.Coming this far,thirty six chapters in total yet one line couldn't add up with the rest of the story. How was I to end it....

Hearing people in deep conversation downstairs made me a bit curious. So I made show I save my work before switching it off, I stood on the stairs looking down at my parents who were conversing with two other figures it was then I realize that my brother had arrive.

Rushing down the stairs not caring if I trip over my feet. All heads turned to me the moment I came in to view.
My brother smiled widely at me while opening his hands for me to come hug him.

"I miss you Mia" my brother said spining me around,making me giggle.
"I miss you too Austin", I really did miss my brother. Since he moved uptown with Amanda I rarely saw him,I missed hanging out with him.

Austin wiped a stare tear of my cheek which I didn't know was their.
I was about to say something when the door open revealing Kelcy with her 12 shopping bags, her eyes grew huge when she saw him. Letting go of me Austin opened his hands to embrace her.

"I missed you"she whispered. Amanda glared at her while Kelcy was in Austin's embrace.

Was Amanda jealous of Kelcy and Austin relationship. Hmmm something is about to go down.

Mom seeing Amanda's hateful glare decided to ease the tension a bit."I think we should all go out to dinner to celebrate since Austin has wonderful news"she said smiling at Austin.

I was looking through my clothes when Kelcy walked in with an angry frown on her face.

I wonder what happen to her now,Kelcy can be such a drama queen. I rolled my eye at my own thought.

"What's going on, who is that girl who is all hugged up on my Austin?"she yelled.

Your Austin haha. My best friend really needs help. I thought.

I took in a large in take of breath before answering her questions."first of all there is a reason why Austin is here and you going to find out at the restaurant, as for the girl you should know since Austin is yours" I said mumbling the last part.

It took us twenty minutes to get the restaurant, we all sat and chat having a wonderful time. With Amanda and Kelcy sending each other glares. Austin stood up with his glass in his hand.

The moment we all was waiting for well more like me.

All eyes on him not a word was uttered. "Amanda and I are engage".
There you have it folks my brother just said the one thing to set off Kelcy bomb, let me tell you Kelcy is no longer sitting at the table.

Congratulations was in order for the soon to be bride and groom. Amanda flashed her ring since we all know now, it wasn't one of those huge expensive rings, it was just plain and simple.
Kelcy has yet to come back so I thought about going to look for her but then my mother stood up.

I looked at my dad looking for clues on what my mother was going to say but my father's eyes never met mine. He never made a glance at my mother, looking at my brother who just simply shrug his shoulder he to not having no clue on what was about to be said.

Was my parents losing the house, did one of them had a addiction. Austin and I wasn't prepared for my mother's words, no matter how old we were we just didn't see that happening not in a million years.

" we are getting a divorce" she said this time my father looked at us. He was trying to hold mom's hand but she refused. I was completely lost for words. Never I imagine this day will come. I always thought my mom and dad was truly in love. May be they were at a point in time, and they just fall out of it.

"Do you think you should reconsider your actions, I mean you guys have been married for 15 years" Austin said.

"We understand that but your mother and I think is best we do it".

Mother cried her heart out whose fault it was in ending their marriage.
"What is going to happen to Mia?" Austin asked.

"She is 23,she could find a place."

Was this all some plan to get rid of me. Was I some burden to them.

"So this is about me?"

None looked at me. Why were they doing this,it's not like I sit on my ass all day. I work, I provide for myself. Who ever said life wasn't fair tell them that's the truth.
