"Mau! wait for me!" I didn't let the person I bumped into finish his sentence as I ran towards Mau who's about to enter our classroom. This were one of those day's that I'm actually early in class. I seated far back behind along with Mau.
"Gabi ka nanaman daw umuwi kagabi sabi ni tita, saan ka nanaman galing?" bungad na tanong sa akin ni Mau ng maka-ayos kami ng upo.
"Wala, alam mo na naghanap ng party na pwedeng puntahan" sagot ko kasabay ng pag iwas ng tingin at saktong pumasok ang adviser namin. Our morning classes finished quickly than expected which made me happy. Mau and I walked our way towards the gate of our school, we're planning to eat outside of the campus.
"Cali!" one of the persons I met in a party called me. I think her name is Riece? Not really sure. I greeted her back that's why she jogged closer towards us.
"May party kami mamaya, sama ka ha?" pag-aaya niya sakin ng makalapit siya sa amin.
"Sige lang, DM me the place nalang" agad na sagot ko na ikina-simangot naman ni Mau habang ang mukha naman ni Riece ay nalagyan ng ngiti. Pagka lakad ni Riece palayo ay agad naman inumpisahan ni Mau ang manenermon sa akin habang kami ay naglalakad papunta sa paborito namin kainan.
"Cali, why do you always go on parties? like I know it's normal to go on parties as on our age pero ikaw shuta gabi-gabi ka nalang lasing" seryosong saad ni Mau habang hinihintay namin ang order naming tabsilog.
"I have my reasons Mau" tipid na sagot ko sabay sipsip sa iced tea ko.
"You always say that to dodge my question" the conversation ended there as our orders came.

Slammed our house's door close and walked my way towards my car. I wasn't really going to the party Riece mentioned but I'd rather listen to the loud music and get drunk. As I started the engine of my car a tear rolled down my cheek which I quickly dried with my sweater.
Why can't I get used to this?
Arrived at the place, I parked my car at the end where there's no people passing by. I got out of my car then opened the compartment at the back and picked an outfit to wear for tonight. I was half way on removing my sweater when I heard a intended cough, I turned my head towards the boy sitting on a big bike while smoking.
"Haven't seen a girl naked?" I asked as I continued to strip my sweater at the back of my car.
"Just thought you wouldn't want me to see you stripping here" he informed me which made me a bit regretful on what I said.
"Sorry, I'm just not on the mood" I apologized after I closed the compartment of my car. He didn't say anything so I just walked inside the place. A typical party with loud music, drunk people, smoke. I noticed a few party friends on the sofa at the center of the place so I decided to join them. After a few minutes of drinking and joking around, I felt my phone vibrating and I accidentally answered the call from my father so I ran outside and away from the noisy surrounding.
"Yes dad?" I asked.
"Where the fuck are you? When did you leave? Come back home now you-" I ended the call.
"Fuck" I breath out. I walked my way towards my car, I'm ditching this party.
"Leaving so early?" the same boy sitting on the same big bike spoke.
"Yup, my mood got worse" I answered.
"Penny for your thoughts? sharing your concerns on a stranger could really help" he suggested.
"Wanna go somewhere?" I asked after a long silence.
