chapter 4

Bethany's p.o.v

*skip car ride* (a/n: im too lazy😴)

we pulled up to a big ass mansion and i was so surprised i mean, how could my dad afford this?

we got out of the car and my dad got my luggage and opened the door for me

"wow this house is so huge" i said surprised

"ya you like it?" my dad said

"i love it!" i said almost shouting

"lets go show you you're room" my dad said while we was getting everything in

we walked down a long hallway until we came up to a door and it said bethany, i opened it and the room was so beautiful, it had a big king sized bed, a walk in closet, my own bathroom, and i got a balcony with a perfect view of the beach and ocean.

"omg dad this room is huge" i said

"wait there's more, come with me" my dad said

I didn't know what he was going to show me next but i just followed him until we came to a big door.

my dad opened it and we walked inside, it was a dance studio type room, like where i used to practice for my dance competitions

"dad why is there a big dance studio room here?" i asked

"well your mother told me that you've been doing alot of dance lately so i decided to make this for you so you wouldn't feel home sick" my dad said

"oh and I signed you up for a temporary soccer and volleyball team" my dad said

"wow dad you didn't have to do this for me, I wouldn't really care if we just stayed in a small house with nothing to do" i said feeling guilty

"I wanted to because i love you and i missed you so much" my dad said hugging me

"thank you so much dad" i said

i was about to go back to my room to unpack when i asked, "dad one more question" i said

"anything sweetie" my dad said

"how could you afford all of this?" i said

"well, you know those boys that you met" he said

I nodded

"well there apart of a group called magcon and im the founder of it" my dad said

i was shocked, so the only reason why he never called me or texted me is because he was fousing on them, and not his own daughter

"so you never even bothered to call me or text me, or even send a letter" i said tearing up

"sweetie that's not what i ment, i was just so busy with- " i cut him off

"with them, i get it, looks like you have new kids to take care of, have fun with them" i said with tears in my eyes

i left the room and went to my bedroom to unpack, i put on the song 2am by adrian marcel and I started unpacking. i unpacked all of my clothes and put them in drawers and my walk in closet, i hung up all of my sports awards like medals and stuff like that, i hung up some posters of kaylin and myles and my other things.

after i finished i decided to take to treat myself to a snack.i walked downstairs to the kichen and of course all of the guys were in the living room just chilling out

when i came downstairs, all eyes were on me. i just kept on walking until i got to the kitchen, i went to get a bottle of water and some snacks

i got the bottle of water out of the fridge and i was trying to reach the snack cabinet but I couldn't reach it

short people problems!

i was standing on my tippy toes trying to get some goldfish when i saw another hand grab the goldfish

i turn around to see one of those guys, he was tall and he had black hair and brown eyes, i think I remember my dad saying that his name is jack g?, I don't know

"uh thanks" i said a little startled

"I wouldn't mind helping a pretty girl like you" he said smiling

I blushed

what not stop bethany, you don't like him!

"thanks" i said again

i walked into the living room where all of the boys were and i sat down in an empty seat while the guys just stare at me.

"what?" i ask

"tell us a little bit about yourself" cameron asked

"well, my full name is bethany may lara and i am unextraodinary" i said flat out

"wait how is your last name lara if you're bart's daughter?" shawn said nicely

"well after my parents got divorced, my mom changed my last name to her last name which is lara" i said

"oh" they all said at the same time

"okay my turn, what is this magcon thing that my dad talked about?" i said

"well, magcon means meet and greet convention and it's where we meet are fans and just have a good time" matthew said

"next question, how are you guys "famous" no efence" i said

"were famous for making vines and youtube videos, jack and jack, and shawn sing so ya" aaron said

"oh" i said trying to prosess everything through my brian

"I can't believe you haven't heard of us" carter said

"well I haven't" i said little bit annoyed

"ok, now we have a question for you" nash said

"shoot" i said

"why don't you like us?" hayes said

i just sat still thinking about that question, why don't i like them? oh i remember

"I don't like you guys because, you've took my dad away from me" i said

"what do you mean?" jack johnson said confused

"what i mean is, you guys have been taking my dad away from me, you know that we haven't talked for three years, not even a god damn letter because he was too busy with you
guys and he didn't have time to talk to his own daughter" i said a little angry

they just kept there heads down in gilut

"exactly" i said getting up and walked away

I decided to give myself a little tour of the mansion, just to get my mind off of things

it had so many rooms that i lost count, it had an arcade, a huge pool, and a zipline, like WHAT! it had a home theater and it had a gym, it also had a area for bonfires and it had a greenscreen/ filming room.

after I finished looking around the house, i went up to my room, took a shower, put on my red cheackered board pj pants and a white t-shirt, i put my hair up in a messy bun and plugged in my phone, i just went on my laptop and my phone until i drifted off to sleep.
