Sujung's Point of View.

I was sitting on the bench while Subin sat across the opposite side.

I stretched my arms.

"Should we make smoothies?" I asked.

Subin looked up.

"Does the cafeteria have a blender?"

"I'm pretty sure it does." I said and stud up from the bed.

"Alright then, let's go." He grinned.

"Hey Hyening Kai?" Subin asked.

"Uh, one moment." He said.

He was basically zipping around busy people like at lighting speed.

"Okay, yeah?" Hyening Kai said, walking towards us.

"Do you have a blending machine in this motel?" Subin asked.

"Yup, do you see on the right?" He asked.

I saw people getting in line for the smoothies.

"Thanks. Come on." Subin said and grabbed my hand.

The line was short for the smoothie machine.

I saw the flavors.

"Strawberry, chocolate, blueberry, mango, banana..."

"What are you gonna have?" I asked.

"I'll have banana. You?" He said.

"Yeah, I'll have chocolate." I said.

The line was actually short for the smoothies.

"Hi, what can I get you?" A girl with a ponytail asked.

"Hi, can I have the chocolate smoothie please?" I asked.

"And can I have the banana smoothie?" Subin asked.

"Is that all you want?" She asked.

"Yes." I said.

"Okay, I'll be right back." She said and walked to the back.

We sat down and I stretched my arms. I checked on my phone.

"2:15PM."

"What do you wanna do after we drink our smoothies?" I asked.

"We can go to the room and play games." Subin said.

"Um," I said and looked at the pavilion, "or we can play bored games."

"Wait, does this motel even have bored games?" He asked.

"Here you go! Have a good day." The girl said as she was walking to get our drinks.

"Thanks," Subin said, "I'm pretty sure it does."

"Okay, I'll ask that girl then." I said and stud up.

"Excuse me." I said.

The girl stopped walking.

"Yes?" She asked.

"Do you have bored games by the chance?" I asked.

"Unfortunately, we don't." She said.

"Oh, that's okay. Thank you though." I said.

"Well." Subin said and turned around.

"Dude, it's okay. We can play with our phones." I said.

"Yeah, that's fine." Subin said.

"Wait, I think I have books in the motel. Come on." I said.

We walked towards the room and I searched for any books.

"Okay, there's a book called, 'Flowers of mold'
or 'The Vegetarian.'" I said.

"Um, yeah. I'll read 'Flower of Mold.'" He said.

"Alright then. I guess I'll read 'The Vegetarian.'" I said and started to read the description.

"The Vegetarian, by Han Kang, and Deborab Smith.
Before the nightmare, Yeonghye and her husband lived on ordinary life. But when splintering blood-soaked images start haunting her thoughts, Yeonghye-"

"Okay, that's enough reading for today." I said and slammed the book shut.

What did I just read..?

"Okay, we should head back now." I said.

"Yeah, my book was pretty weird as well." Subin said and stud up from the library's couch.
