The boy walked up the stairs in the direction that was very vaguely pointed to him when he asked someone where the counselors office was. “How do they expect me to find this office on my own in this big ass school?” He murmured to himself as he took another left towards another long hallway. Finally finding the office, he walks into the counselor's office and sits down in the seat in front of his desk. Nick (Sapnap) James is an easy-going new kid with optimism for the school year he is about to be thrown into.
Mr. Velvet, the strong-willed and wild counselor is sitting at his desk presumably writing something. He turned his head to face Sapnap and handed him a transcript that was on top of a stack of papers next to the computer. “So, Nick,” He starts before Sapnap abruptly interrupts him. “I prefer to be called Sapnap sir” He murmured as he looked up from the transcript that was placed in his hands. “My bad. Anyways, this is your 9th school in 10 years, are you an army brat?” Velvet asked as he looked back down at the stack of papers on his desk. “Yeah my dads actually-” He began before being interrupted. “Okay that's enough” Velvet said as he picked up a few papers off of the top of the pile next to him before continuing.
“I am sure that you will love it here at SMP High.” Something hits the window making a loud smash noise. “Nothing but the average shit-for-brain asswipe kids.” He finished as he flipped off what he could only assume were students outside his window. “Excuse me. Did I just hear you right? Am- Am I in the right office?” Sapnap stammered after the scene that just happened in front of him. “Not anymore, now I have delinquents to take care of and a novel to finish now scoot.” Velvet replied with a deadpan expression on his face. Sapnap was stuck in the seat in shock until Velvet yelled another ‘Scoot’ and he scampered out of the office and out into the hallway, accidentally knocking into a tall, blonde, smug dude walking into the place that he walked out of.

George drives down his street in his run down, old brown car, stopping at the stop sign next to an open convertible with a bunch of preppy-type kids in it. He looks over at them before leaning down to his radio to turn the volume up, trying to drown out their pop music with his rock music. Reputation by Joan Jett blasts through the speakers as the preppy-kids turn and glare at him due to his choice of music. George just rolls his eyes and pushes down on the gas pedal, speeding down the street into the direction of the school. Pulling into his usual parking spot, he slams the car door as he speed walks towards the mansion that they call a school.
He walks towards a girl who had just put up a sign with ‘PROM’ written in a font big enough to give anybody a headache. He mentally groans at the sight. Giving the poster a once over, he reached his hand up to the top of the poster and tore it off of the wall, bundling it up into a ball with his hands and throwing it in the trash can.
Hey!

Plowing through the extremely busy hallways while searching for someone was not the best plan that Sapnap had ever had as he continuously looked down at his class schedule and then back up to try to at least find one class. He felt a tap on his shoulder and whipped his head around to see a boy with a hooded black sweatshirt, the hood over his head casting a shadow over his face making it harder to see.
“Badboyhalo. Everyone usually calls me Bad though. I am here to show you around” He said, extending his hand to Sapnap. He took it and shook his hand, giving him a small smile in return. “It's nice to meet you! I'm glad they didn't send down one of those audio video geeks like they normally do.” Sapnap replied as he let go of his hand and continued to walk down with Bad not far behind him. Bad chuckled nervously and just nodded his head in response. Right as the words fell from his lips, a group of boys came up behind Bad with what looked like a rack of electronic equipment
"Hey Bad, where do you want us to put these?" One of the boys said. Bad gave a wavering look and a small smile before pointing them in the direction which looked to be down one of the many long hallways. Sapnap looked him up and down before continuing his journey down the hallway.
Bad ran to catch up to him, having to catch his breath before speaking. “I can give you the overall gist of the school if you would like” He asked kindly while looking down at Sapnaps schedule. “Sure” Sapnap replied, still amazed by just how giant this school seemed not just on the outside, but on the inside as well. The weird looks he was getting in the hallway were not new to him, having transferred school more than the average kid. Bad point to a group of people standing near one locker: “Those people over there are the basic pretty people, don’t talk to them unless you want to smell the bottom of a trash can.” He grimaced. Sapnap raised an eyebrow “Is that your rule or theirs?” He replied giving the group a once over. “Watch this” Bad said before turning to the group as they walked past. “Hey there” He said to them with a smile and an immediate swift turn around. “Fuck off basket case” One of the guys in the group said, throwing his arms up and rolling his eyes. Bad turned to Sapnap and laughed, shaking his head. He opened the door that led to the courtyard and waited for Sapnap to walk through the door before walking out behind him.
“To the left we have the coffee kids, caffeine addicts if you will. I wouldn’t bother if I were you” Bad said as soon as they walked into the courtyard. Sapnap simply nodded his head and looked at the group surrounding a coffee cart. One of the group members tripped and dropped his coffee, cursing to himself and getting back up, glaring up at Sapnap. What the hell is up with the people at this school???? Sapnap thought as he continued to follow behind Bad.
They walk down a small set of stairs before getting to presumably the next group of people. “Those are the stoners, they like to listen to alot of Bob Marley” Bad said next pointing to a group of people sitting at one of the lunch tables. They had questionable outfit choices, or at least that is what Sapnap thought.
The next group was a group of boys that looked an awful lot like cowboys. They had the boots, the pants, the button up shirts, the cowboy hats, the expensive looking belt buckles, and even the lassos. Sapnap nudged Bad “Let me guess, Cowboys?” He said, laughing at himself. Bad nodded and laughed with him “The closest thing that they have been to a cow is McDonalds.” Bad said and laughed at his own joke. He sighed “Ah, McDonalds, that was a good one” Sapnap gave him a questioning look before laughing with him.
Bad seemed to know this next group of people better than the other ones by the way that he tensed up before turning to Sapnap. “Those are the Ivy League students, the future MBAs if you will.” He said before turning to the group of kids that were surrounded by computers and other types of tech. “Hey guys” Bad said to the group with a smile and a wave before the group glared at him and whispered among themselves. Bad frowned before pulling Sapnap away and to another area of the large courtyard. “Yesterday the loved me,” Bad said with some malice in his voice. Sapnap could tell that Bad was upset but he didn’t know how to approach it. “What happened?” Sapnap said to him, Bad turned to him and gave him a small smile before responding. “One of the members, Ranboo, spread a rumor about me and made all the other members hate me” Bad looked more annoyed than sad now, shaking his head and rolling eyes. Sapnap just nodded his head slowly still wondering what the hell was up with the people in this school.
Sapnap turned his head and saw a boy. A beautiful boy. With curly brown hair bouncing on his head and a purple sweater with what looked like a square version of a swirl. Sapnap felt like the entire world disappeared around him, all of the shouting students, the cars, everything went silent and it was just him and the mystery guy from across the courtyard. “Holy Shit. Who is that” Sapnap said, still stuck in his trance. “Hey! Language! That's Karl Jacobs, but I wouldn’t even try.” Bad replied watching Karl walk right past them. “Why not?” Sapnap asked with confusion drawn all over his face. “His father is some crazy uptight guy,” Bad said. “It's a widely known fact that the Jacobs brothers are not allowed to date.” Sapnap was still in a trance, completely disregarding everything that Bad had just told him. “Uh huh, yeah” He replied. Bad rolled his eyes and pulled Sapnap back into the school.
