Family was always a loving thing, especially in a place like Crux-Uber. It is a place where all people from all worlds and universes converge. Over at the Redwood Apartment Complex, families were preparing for a grand gala. It was a Parents' Appreciation Night at the Crossover Academy's Concourse Building, and all attendees were allowed to bring their children. Four of a family of five was preparing for the event...

Stepping out of her bedroom was a dark-gray party frock-wearing black-haired sixteen-year-old girl with red eyes. Despite her appearance, she was a nice girl by the name of Zatsune Miku.

Time to check on the others, She thought about the situation.

First, Zatsune decided to pay a visit to her sister in the middle... Hatsune Miku.

Turning a right from her bedroom, Zatsune came to her sister's bedroom door. At first, she was about to knock at the door when she heard various sounds on the other side. Zatsune frowned over this revelation, for she knew what this meant...

Aggravated, Zatsune opened the door and made entry. Her red eyes widened at her fourteen-year-old, green pigtail-haired sister in a white one-piece dressed playing a video game!

Just as quickly, a surprised Miku turned her attention to Zatsune after pausing her game.

Hatsune Miku replied, "Zatty-sis?!"

Though Miku was a good student at the Academy, she was a slacker when it came to domestic affairs. Even this time showed that she'd kill the time for a wait by playing video games!

The elder of the sisters scolded, "Playing games again, Miku-chan? It's fifteen minutes until Mothers' Appreciation Night event begins!"

"Oh come on, Zatty-sis! Can I just get one more minute in," Miku complained.

Of all the sisters, Hatsune Miku was surprisingly the least mature of the bunch. However, Zatsune was not deterred.

Annoyed, Zatsune sighed, "Alright, but once I check on Kokone, you better be finished... Or there'll be no snacks for you!"

The sound of Zatsune's negative reinforcement was enough to compel Miku into complying. Thus she stood up after putting her game console's controller down.

"Okay, Zatty-sis, I'm ready," She replied hesitantly.

Grinning triumphantly, Zatsune thought, Works every time.

With that, Zatsune and her little sister took off to check up on Kokone.

Inside the bedroom parallel to Miku's, Kokone spun about like a ballerina in her pink dress. The brunette, brown-haired ten-year-old girl was pleased with the apparel she wore.

As she slipped on her white pump shoes, Kokone remembered something her mother told her.

But her moping was cut short by a rapping at her bedroom door.

"Koko-chan," Miku was heard calling, "We're ready!"

Perking her head up, Kokone turned about.

"I'm coming, sisters," She replied.

Within moments Kokone headed over to open her bedroom door. On the other side were Zatsune and Hatsune.

Kokone asked, "I guess it's time to go?"

Hatsune Miku responded with, "First, we gotta check with mama."

"Alright," Kokone agreed.

After coloring her lips bright red, Meiko picked up her purse and slipped on her shoes. As Meiko started to gaze at her glamorous red dress in the mirror, she heard a knock at her bedroom door.
