~Chapter 11~

y/n's POV

After I won that fight Todoroki had to rush to recovery girl. I accidentally cut him way more than I intended to. Once I reached the group Momo was in she rushed towards me.

"Y/n! Are you okay? You did so well, I'm so proud of you." She sent me a smile even though I could tell she's really worried about me. She examined my body for a few moments as I stared at her.

"Even though your face is full of worry, you're really pretty Momo." I told her with a sincere smile. I watched as she got flustered and her cheeks flushed red. She shook her head for a moment before going back to make sure I'm okay.

"Did he impale you with his ice as well as burn your skin?" She asked as her right hand hovered over the severe burn he left on my chest. "Possibly." I nervously laughed.

"You need to see recovery girl right now." She said sternly as she grabbed my hand and dragged me along. For some reason, when she grabbed my hand it felt like my heart beat sped up.

"Momo it's not as bad as you think." I laugh as I try to get her to both slow and calm down. The lack of metal in my body makes me feel weak and her walking so fast is not helping.

I felt my eyes shut for a moment as my legs became weak. I dropped to my knees causing Momo to become even more alert. "You need more metal in you right?" She asked frantically, all I could do was nod in response.

She picked me up as she made me small bolts with her quirk. "Eat these for now and when we get to recovery girl I'll make you better metal."

She handed the small handful of bolts to me. I smiled as I held onto her tightly and ate the metal. Practically I could've just absorbed them into my body, but I strangely like the metal taste so I actually ate them.

As soon was we got to recovery girl she placed me on a bed and checked my wounds again. "Do they hurt a lot?" She asked as her hand hovered over the excruciatingly deep cut on my right hip.

"Very, but I don't mind it much." I said as I sat up, which I immediately regretted because I fell back down. Momo got up and moved closer to me. "I'll make you more, hold on."

This time Momo made me a pole of metal. "I hope this is better." She smiles and hands it to me. "Thank you Mo, you're the best." I mumble as I take big bites of the metal.

I don't think she's ever seen me eat chunks of metal this big.

Recovery girl came in and sighed. "l/n, you cut Todoroki a lot, you need to be more careful."I nodded as I wiped metal crumbs off of my mouth and finished chewing the last bits of the pole Momo gave me.

"So what happened to you?" She asked as she examined my body. As soon as she saw the small hole in my hip she gasped and grabbed some bandages. "I'm not sure how much I can fix this." She mumbled before kissing my forehead.

The burn on my chest died down as the hole in my hip stopped bleeding. "These will both leave scars no matter what I do. So just rest for now and I'll be back." Momo and I nodded as Recovery girl walked out.

Momo's POV

I pulled a chair up and sat right beside y/n's hospital bed. She calmly stared at the ceiling. "You know, I think I let my emotions control me too much in that fight."

I looked at her curiously as she turned her face toward me and smiled. She held her hand out towards me which I stared at for a moment before looking at her face curiously.

"Hold my hand dummy. I want to feel body warmth instead of this burning on my chest." I nodded and grabbed her hand.

"Would you like me to get you an ice pack?"

"No, thank you though. I'll be fine."

"Alright. If you need anything, let me know and I'll get it for you."

"I will. Thanks Mo.

Back to what I was saying. I was so angry at Todoroki for stealing Sero which is why I wanted to spar him. But I eventually realized I also really wanted to beat him up for your sake.

It still bothers me that her hurt your feelings. That's what drove me more than the fact that he ruined things for my own relationship. I mean if Hanta isn't happy with me then there's no reason to dwell on it so much.

Plus, I just want to make others happy. If I can't make him happy than letting him be with someone else that will make him happy is my best bet.

Besides, I already have someone that I know I make happy."

"You do? Who is it?"

"You, silly. I always do whatever I can to keep you happy. That's why I was so frustrated when I had noticed Hanta and Todoroki holding hands. Despite you liking someone new, I'm sure some where deep down that hurt you a little."

"y/n..."

"Mo, I would do anything to make sure you're always happy. I really care about you."

"y/n, I really care about you too."

"You do? Then tell me who you like."

"What? No way. Was that a trick?" We both laughed. Her laugh is so beautiful, I could listen to it all day. And her smile is so enticing.

"Maybe it was, maybe it wasn't. I still mean everything I said though." She smiled at me as she squeezed my hand a bit tighter.

"I'm tired, I think I'm going to take a nap." She shut her eyes and her breath immediately calmed.
