One Day

Chapter 1

I was standing outside the ice-cream store, waiting for my bestfriend who was no one other than world famous Jeon Jungkook. Yes, the maknae of the world's biggest boyband is my bestfriend. Even though he stays away from girls on screen, he's always free with me. We have been besties from our childhood, thanks to our mums. By the way, I am Cho. I am 21 years old. I am a trainee for HYBE Entertainment which was known as BigHit Entertainment. After Jungkook became a trainee, we had to part our ways but after I became a trainee, we met again and started hanging out again. Of course, he didn't get to spend much time with me because of their hectic schedules, he still finds time for me. I was daydreaming when someone tapped my shoulder. I turned around to see my bestie wearing a black mask and a hat.

"I thought you wouldn't come today. I waited for half an hour koo." I say as he smiles.

"Sorry, sugar plum. I was busy with some vocals." He says as he leads me inside the ice-cream store. We order our ice-creams and take our sits.

"So.......Do you have any idea about your debut?" He asks me as I nod.

"PDnim said, I might be debuting in a couple of months" I say as he smiles wider.

"That's a good thing to hear. Once you debut, I will collab with you" He says as I chuckle. "Any idea about your stage name and fandom name." He asks me.

"I like the name Lily as a stage name and for my fandom..uh...petals..." I say looking down, embarrassed. Jungkook chuckles. "Are you embarrassed? Don't be so. They both are beautiful but I think they are connected in some way." He says as I nod. "May I know how?" He asks as I start explaining.

"I chose Lily which means Waterlily and my fans are going to be my Petals. They will help me bloom and shine." I say as he smiles. "Beautiful, sugar plum. And yeah, you are debuting as a solo idol, right?" He asks as I nod. The rest of the night we spent chatting about random stuff and our childhood. After finishing we went to our dorms. Our dorms are basically beside each other so he decided to drop me. How I wish he was my boyfriend. I like him a lot but can't just say. I am afraid it will ruin our friendship. I keep aside those thoughts and drift off to sleep.
