01. MIYAGI
YOUR PARENTS HAVE been divorced ever since you were little. But they didn't want you to only have a single parent your whole life, and so they decided that you would go over to Miyagi where your mother was during the summer and holidays while you stayed at Tokyo where your father was.
Finally reaching your mother's house after an 11-hour drive, your father parked on the driveway and pressed the horn of the car numerous times to notify her that you two have arrived and also to probably annoy the woman. You laughed at the older man's antics. Although the two are no longer wedded, they still had a pretty good relationship.
You got out of the car, the man doing the same as he went over to the trunk of the car to pull out your luggage. You looked over when your mother finally opened the front door, her eyes lighting up at the sight of the two of you as she yelled at your old man to hurry up and get your belongings in the house.
Your father groaned when your mother hit the back of his head. "You idiot! You probably disturbed our neighbors with that stupid horn of yours," she scolded as the man only groaned at her to shut up, putting your luggage inside of the house. You softly smiled at the sight. You never really understood why the two had a divorce. They had a very good relationship as far as you were aware, and they refused to tell you why they did either.
You quickly went over to your mother and she immediately engulfed you into a hug, kissing your cheek making you playfully groan. "That's gross, ma." She hit your arm with a smile on her face. "Geez, you just keep on growing whenever I see you." Your father then went back outside. "I'll be going now, kid. Make sure to text me, yeah?" He said as he ruffled your hair with a fond grin on his face.
"Yeah, yeah," you said, pouting as you tried to fix your now very messy hair. The older man chuckled and bid your mother goodbye, going back into his car and pressed his horn just to piss her off even more. Your mother jumped at the sudden noise and glared harshly at the man behind the wheel. "You moron, get the hell out of here!" She yelled angrily, watching him cackle as he backed the car up with an irk mark on her forehead.
