New Wind Ideas

I'm getting kind of bored in this cave now. I have been lazy since I have a good food supply here. I even build a base in this part of the cave. My defenses consists of spikes so monsters can't get near me easily. Small slimes sometimes pass through but I beat them with my wind magic. I wish I had a spell or something. If  I had to guess I would say it has been 4 days since I have been in this part of the  cave. I smell horrible and even Saber won't get near me as much anymore. Time to get my lazy butt off this section and find some water source to clean myself. Oh did I mention I started using my wind magic in a defensive way as well. I created a wind shield around me so anything that gets closed to my wind's range gets sliced. I have been training all this time as well. I am starting to miss my parents now and  even some of my friends. I even cried a little. At least I have you Saber now. Time to get moving Saber. I gathered a lot of fruits and headed on towards another part of the cave. I passed by purple tiger's grave and paid my respects. 

As I kept walking straight the floor beneath me gave way and I started falling fast down with Saber. I quickly used my wind magic to levitate and held Saber in my arms. Oh man that was closed. We could have died. We were in a lower section of the cave now. As soon as I landed I saw a group of goblins. They were startled by the noise above and saw me. I never killed anything like them before, but it was me or them. Well I choose me. Saber go get them. Saber is a small white monster dog. He has razor sharp teeth and can open his mouth like an alligator. He gobbled two goblins at the same time. I quickly used my bow and started raining arrows on the goblins. One of them got through my arrow attack and got sliced with my wind defense. I was getting cocky and didn't noticed a goblin behind me who hit me with a small knife. I turned around fast and slashed him with my wind. I can't let my guard down. The wound was not deep but it still hurt. I counted the group of goblins me and Saber slayed. It was ten in total. I guess I am in goblin territory. Above me I will call slime territory. Ouch it hurts so much. I looted the goblins. One of them had a pouch and I took that as well to store some of their small blades. These are some ugly looking things. I have to be careful. There could be more down here as well.

It sucks that I don't have a healing factor. Wait I'm an elf. Elves tend to have healing magic. I put my hand to my wound and concentrated really hard. A green aura radiated from my hand and my wound started healing. After that I fainted. When I woke up Saber had dragged me somewhere safe. It would have been  bad if the friends of those goblins saw me there and their friends slain. Healing magic put a huge strain on my body. I picked up a rock and threw it against the wall to test my strength. Looks I got a little stronger. I dented some of that wall. I got up and started dancing to put my spirits up. Alright enough fooling around now time to continue to try to find water. I walked quietly in the goblin territory and after what felt like some hours I came upon a small village in a cave. Yes a village inside the cave. I looked from afar and saw many goblins. There were small cages in the village and went I looked there were humans in those cages. Naked in those cages. I gasped in horror because many of them had many wounds.

I can't take on an army of those goblins by myself. I would die if I did. The most I probably can take on 20 before losing my stamina and running out of magic. Even with Saber we would get killed. I'll wait for them to go to sleep. I waited for hours in a small hiding spot. I decided I was going to free some of the humans every night. The first night I sneaked into the goblin village there were a couple of guards which I took out quietly. I trained Saber not to make noise when I did a silent whistle. I got to one of the cages and told the people inside to be silent. I broke the lock with one of the knives I looted from the goblins before. In this group there were two women and three men. I sent them above with my wind magic. They thanked me for the help. I sent them all the way to slime territory. I was back in slime territory as well. I floated through the hole that I fell through and healed them with my healing magic. I fainted multiple times but helping people comes before myself. I asked them what happened to them. They told me they were adventurers that got captured by the goblins. They were ambushed by a team of goblins lead my their leader who was a goblin that had fire magic. They told me of the horror they went through. 

One of them had magic to make clothes and so they used it to cloth themselves and the others. They couldn't do this before because their magic was low because of being on the brink of starvation. I let them eat as many fruits as they wanted and after a couple of days the color came back to their face. The goblins in the goblin territory were probably losing it down there. The people I saved thanked me and promised to reward me if I ever left the cave. One of females had teleportation magic and left the cave. That was interesting. There are nine more cages left, but I think there might be more human prisoners there. I wonder if I will meet the people I rescued again? Saber let's get some sleep. 

I thought of a great idea. I dug the grave of purple tiger and drained some of its blood to bath my arrows and knives in. I then went back to the goblin territory during the night. I took a bite out of an apple and was ready for my brilliant plan. When the goblins went to sleep I noticed they increased security. Instead of a couple of guards, they now had 10 guards on alert. I floated with Saber to the village. I slowly sliced one of the goblins with my wind and then I threw one of the poison knives to the other one. Once the knife hit the goblin his body became purple fast and it died instantly. Good thing purple tiger did not hit me with his poison. I would have been dead for sure. I grabbed the dead goblin bodies with the help of Saber and put them out of sight. I then proceeded to take out the other goblin guards. I then got a little ahead of myself and then decided to free all the humans out of the cages, and then used my wind to carry them to the slime territory. However, I did not go with them this time. It was time to bring this goblin terror to an end. 

Only a coward would kill sleeping goblins so at the top of my lungs I screamed. Come out you stupid goblins! I'm here to take you on! Once I did this the goblins got out of their huts. In front of me was what seemed to be 100 goblins, and all the way in the back was a goblin with a giant scar on his face and he was taller than all the other goblins. I guess that was the boss. I took out all my arrows. I then used my wind magic to make them levitate and shoot them at the goblins. Many of the goblins were killed and some of them used the dead bodies as shields for my arrows. I then commanded Saber to attack. Saber took down many of them, but sustain injuries as well. I started retreating and then a wall of fire formed behind me. The leader of the goblins showed up in front of the other goblins and commanded them to stop. This goblin had a menacing aura and then to my surprised it spoke to me. Another human. Killing my brethren. Time to kill you here. The goblin leader threw a giant fire ball at me and with my wind magic I redirected it upwards and dispersed the fire. I then rushed towards the goblin leader with the smokescreen created and with one hit from the goblin leader's fist I got sent flying to a wall. I saw my  life flashing before my eyes. Saber came to my aid. Saber started glowing and then the small white monster dog turned massive. It let out a giant roar. Saber now had blue fur. It then proceeded to step on the ground and everything in front of him froze. It then stepped on the goblin leader's frozen body and the foe was defeated. The other goblins were also frozen and I commanded Saber to take them down as well. I went to each hut and found at least 1 person there. 

I was going to go back and loot the huts later on. It felt like a couple of my ribs were broken. Saber could now leap really high in the air so with his help we all got back to slime territory. The saved humans ate to their heart's content and they tended to my wounds. Some of them were adventurers and some were natives to this land which I learned was named Rizo. One of them healed my wounds. I was surprised Saber could evolve. When I felt better I went back to the goblin territory and with the help of some of the adventurers I looted the huts. I got a lot of gold and other rare resources and found two more rings, which I put on. I could feel my power rising without even doing anything. One of the adventures name Garrison told me that only ten of those rings were made by an ancient mage a millennia again. Each one is worth a big terrain. I could become wealthy, but I did not care about that. I decided that I would save people from evil. Something caught my eye right away. It was a katana. I heard of these. I grabbed it and when all the huts were looted I went back up. Afterwards I shared some of the riches with the adventures. One of the adventures had a communication spell and within two days teleportation mages arrived and transported everyone out, but Garrison decided to stay behind. I'll help you on your quest Nathan. You are my hero.
