Harry Potter POV:

We walked into the great hall and Emlyn sat with us. We introduced her to the rest of the Weasleys; Fred, George, and Ginny. We also introduced her to Neville. He was a good friend of ours as well.

"Well hello Emlyn." George said. "Fancy seeing a nice Malfoy for a change." Fred chimed in. "Pleasure." Ginny said, holding out a hand. "You all are so sweet." Emlyn said. Neville just smiled, trying to be as polite as possible. 

"This must be Neville then." Emlyn said. "Yes." Neville replied. "Well it is a pleasure to meet you." She gave him a big smile. "Suppose you all will catch me up on some Gryffindor drama, been living in the shadows for a while now." She said. "Ooo, she can gossip." Ginny said. Emlyn laughed. 

We all got along quite well. They weren't really hesitant around her, I guessed they sensed our comfort around her. "I call this meal a success. We didn't happen to run into any angry Dracos." Emlyn said. I looked at her gorgeous smile and almost got lost in her eyes.

"She's nice mate." Fred said nudging me in the side. "Oh. No Fred. She is just a friend." I replied. "Mhm." Ginny and George said. "Yeah right." Neville and Ron replied with a smirk. "No. For real guys!" I said. Hermione smirked. 

I heard footsteps coming from the girls dormitories. It was Emlyn. She was wearing pajama shorts and a crop top that showed off the band of her bra. I looked at her and closed my eyes. I took a deep breath. "Alright everyone, we have classes tomorrow. I think I will clock out for the evening." Hermione said. 'Oh yeahs' and 'mhms' came from them as they left the common room, leaving me and Emlyn. 

"I am not that tired. Not quite sure what they are doing." Emlyn said. I knew very well what they were doing. "Er-uh I don't know." I said. "Well Harry." She said. "Want some chocolate?" She smiled. "Oh yeah, of course." I said. I took a piece and she took a piece. We sat on the couch in front of the fire and talked.

"I am so sorry for the way Draco acted earlier. He should really stop being mean to the lot of you." Emlyn said as she took another piece of chocolate. "No need to apologize for his actions. They are not your doing." I smiled at her. I saw her cheeks flush with red. "Thank you Harry." She said while trying to conceal a grin. 

Emlyn was staring out the window and I turned my head to look out too. "What do you see?" I asked her. "Just looking at stars. I have always loved them. Kind of an escape, whole different world out there." She sighed. "I love the stars too." I replied. She got up and walked toward the window. "Come here." She said. I got up and stood next to her at the window. "It's Indus. That triangle looking one." She said calmly. "It is my favorite for no reason. Hidden in plain sight I guess. Nobody notices it until you point it out." She said. "It's gorgeous." I said looking at the five stars that made the constellation. 

We sat back on the couch and she pulled a small book off the shelf next to us. "I hid this book here in first year. It is a book of every constellation. I stay up late some nights and try to find them." She said. "I have used that book to help with astronomy. I always wondered what the inked in dates were for." I said. "That is the date I saw the constellation. So like today, I will take it and put September 1." She said. I smiled and she smiled back. 

We talked the rest of the night about Merlin knows what. I kept thinking to myself, 'how have I not seen her before. I mean, how could I miss her. She has been here all along and I didn't notice her until she pointed herself out. She was in the background, blended in behind Malfoy.' Then it hit me. She was like Indus, until she pointed out the constellation, I never knew it was there. Until she introduced herself, I didn't know she was there. I mean it is her favorite because it mirrors her.

In the morning, Ron came shaking me awake. "C'mon Harry. We are going to be late for Defense Against The Dark Arts!" Ron said looking at his time table. I had realized that we had fallen asleep on the couch. She was still asleep on the other side. Hermione waked her. We ran down to the great hall for a quick piece of toast and ran to DADA.
