Just as Lynn had predicted, it had started to rain. She sighed slightly as Thunder cracked somewhere in the distance. The original plan was for her to teach Aang and Katara water bending before finding and earth bender and then a fire-bender to teach them the remaining elements. Chances were that Aang was heading for the North Pole now.

Ōumi let out a dissatisfied mewling sound as she landed by her owner. The Deity sighed as she bent down to scratch behind the cat-owl's ear. "I know girl, I'm not a big fan of storms anymore either."

Lynn felt the electricity buzzing through the air before she heard it. She ran outside, instinctively bending the rain away from her.

"Where we're we hit?"

"I don't know!"

Lynn pointed towards the smoke. "Up there!"

As Zuko and one of the other guards started to climb, Lynn took in a deep breath and used water-bending to hoist herself towards the dangling man. He instinctively let out a scream as he started to fall only for Zuko to catch him. "I've got him from here."

Zuko eyes met hers for a moment as he handed over the man. Another bolt of lightning cracked through the air as they finally settled on the deck.

"The Avatar!"

Lynn froze. This could be her chance to escape but... a deal's a deal, and Zuko was more concerned for the safety of his crew at the moment. It would be a dirty move to make a run for it now.

Lynn paused her breathing exercises as a knock clanged against the metal door of her bedroom. She let her control on the flame go as she got up to answer it. The Deity wasn't foolish enough to try summoning fire without supervision, but she had seen Zuko and Iroh do the breathing exercise enough to copy them.

Speaking of Zuko, Lynn was supersized to find him at the door. "May I..."

She blinked before opening the door more to let him in. "Um, yeah, come in."

Zuko cleared his throat awkwardly. "I um, I just wanted to thank you for your assistance in saving the helmsman and for not taking advantage of the storm to reunite with the Avatar."

It was stiff and sounded slightly forced, so it was most likely Iroh's suggestion. It was the effort that counts tho, right?

Lynn smiled slightly. "I still could. It hasn't stopped raining yet."

The Prince eyed her nervously and the Deity rolled her eyes. "I'm kidding."
