"You know, it'll never be possible for you to be with her."

With a groan, I glared at my brother who was grinning back at me. "You don't have to remind me, Jinhai."

He's right though. How can I, a fucking library ghost, manage to get this girl I have such a huge crush on. It would've been easy if she wasn't so human.

I dropped my head down low, accidentally hitting the table as well. Well, fortunately, I can't feel pain. The thud was heard throughout the almost empty library though, and it also caught the attention of my crush, who goes by the name 'Jihan'. I know because she labels her things maybe so she wouldn't lose them. Wow, smart and cute.

Suddenly, a dumb idea crossed my mind. Hurriedly standing up and startling my mom and younger brother, I ran to the poem section. If humans can see us moving things, but can't really hear or see us, then why not communicate with them by objects!

"Quiet down, Yangyang! Don't forget that ghosts read here too!," Ms. L whisper-yelled. I bowed apologetically and raised up a peace sign which of course she returned.

As I wait for the perfect timing, I go over my plan. Hopefully it doesn't freak her out or something.

After minutes of almost falling asleep while waiting, she finally came. Her eyes could literally light up the whole world. "Wow, I'm so whipped," I mumbled to myself before finally approaching her. I grabbed the book that I marked all over and held it in front of her, shaking it as well. She was caught off guard at first but then laughed it off.

"Woah, she didn't get scared at all. Hmn, so she's cute, she's smart, and also brave!," i said to myself, almost like i was writing a mental note. I then felt the book being pushed down so I looked at Jihan who was legit staring at me. "Thanks, I guess."

"Oh, no problem haha you're so pretty." I smiled and stared at her for a bit until her words had finally sunked into my brain. "Wait holy shh- you can see me?!" I gasped so hard that I started choking which worried her a bit. "Well, yeah. Am I not supposed to?" Dumbfounded, I could only look at her with both my eyes and mouth wide open.

"So all this time you..." I physically cringed as I remembered all the times I purposely sat at her table just so I could admire her and 'spend time with her'. "Well, that's a bit embarrassing," I said, rubbing my nape. Then I realized, I might actually have a chance!
