"It's pretty hot now and I thought it was hot 30 minutes ago" I thought to myself as I finished pulling out the rest of the weeds in the yard. I wiped my arm over my forehead I could feel the sweat run down my arm ,I stood up scanning the yard for any more weeds. "I must be done" I thought as I turned to face by back door I heard a car pull up into my neighbour's driveway even though he moved out.I quickly slid open the glass door and slipped inside and walked to my front door,as I opened it a young fox in he's 20's had gotten out of the car and had opened his boot. "He must be moving in,hope he's not an alcoholic like my last neighbour" i mumbled under my breath as I rolled my eye's.
"Hey!!"I heard I look up to see the young fox waving at me his mouth was open partially, I instinctively waved back with a little smile on my face. "Hey could I get a hand in new here" he asked "sure" I replied with a smile on my face I jogged over to his car. " you look strong" he said "could I get help to carry some stuff in from my car" he asked as he pointed to the boot. " sure thing the names Alex" I extended my arm out to give him a handshake "oh shit sorry I'm Charlie" as he extended his arm. "So what is first?" As I gazed into his deep Blue eyes,they appeared turquoise from far away. " so I was thinking we take the heavier boxes in first then I can do the lighter one's later by myself"he said as a smiled quietly crept across his face. " sure I said as we grabbed the heaviest box, he's face went red as soon as we picked up the box, "what's wrong?" I asked hoping for a a nothing "just a bit heavier than I thought" he said, I smiled back and so did he
After we to took the heavier boxes in he thanked me for helping him out and offered to shout my lunch sometime. We had said our goodbyes for today and I headed back home i didn't realise that the day bled so quick and i hadn't noticed how dark it had gotten.I went home had a nice warm soothing shower got dressed in something comfortable enough for bed and collapsed into my bed it never felt so welcoming until now I though.
