Chapter 1

In an email to Bella

"Dear Bella,

I am super excited to tell you that I'm coming to Forks!!!! Ahhh!
So Dumbledore has spoken to Uncle Charlie, aka your dad, and we have worked out a plan for Harry and I to come to Forks for a bit!!!
Charlie said there's plenty of room for us in the house, and I can stay in your room with you if you'd like. The thing is though..
Harry brought up something about his cousin he had barely ever spoken to, and Charlie invited him too!
Now I don't know anything about him, don't know his name, but I know that his girlfriend has decided to stay in Forks too... But I don't know yet where she will be staying, cause I know that the two aren't staying in your house, that would be too weird.
So that's amazing news!!!!!!
I'm coming August 29th, and Harry's cousin and his girlfriend will be there already, we will be able to meet them. I'm going to start junior year in an American high school!! I can't wait!!!!

I clapped my hands, spinning around in my desk chair. My cousin Hermione was coming to stay with me for junior year of high school!
I couldn't wait to see her- we hadn't seen each other since we were 11, when Hermione had started attending a boarding school and we stopped visiting each other in England.
Also, she was bringing her friend Harry!
I had never met him before, but apparently he was amazing, according to her emails. He had saved the world several times.
Now here's the thing.... I know about Hermione's special.... Talents. And I'm pretty much the only person in the United States who does.
Charlie doesn't know, Renee doesn't know, even though Charlie is brothers with Hermione's mom. Only I know about the fact that Hermione is a witch.
Now I know that sound rude, but don't worry. She is actually a witch. Like, she has a wand. She can do spells.
The problem with that is, I can't let it slip.
I had kept the secret for 3 years, not giving anything away- but that's because it didn't really come up. But now.... I don't know how I will be able to keep my lips sealed.
But then there's another problem.....
Edward.
What am I supposed to tell him?
Do I tell him Hermione's secret? I mean, he's a Vampire. It won't be that strange to hear at my cousin can do magic tricks.
Yet, I don't want to betray Hermione.
And what will Edward think about Harry staying at my house?
The wizarding world coming over to Forks for a year is going to be more complicated than I thought.
