The last thing Akuma remembers before he passed away was being challenged by Ryu one last time. They had an glorious battle and Ryu use the power of nothingness to defeat Akuma. And Akuma finally accepted Ryu as a true warrior.
The next thing Akuma knew he was in a dark void between heaven and hell. He assumed he wasn't fit in the nether realm.
"So I'm in between Heaven and hell. Very interesting." He said. Akuma mediates peaceful and then words were written in front of him.
Akuma you are considered one of the most deadliest and powerful warriors of the universe but your path of the demon is not done yet. To reach the heavens and to surpass anyone who stands in your way! You must help this other world that is different from your own.

"I could care less about these so called monsters and this Salem person. So what does this have to do with me." Akuma replies.

"When one life ends you are reborn in a new form or something more." Akuma replies as he does a little bit of training.

"I accept this gift you're offering me but I feel like you are secretly hiding something from me. What is it?" Akuma demanded.
A person created these powers only for four female women. The powers are the season itself. Spring, Winter, Summer, and Fall. The powers are called the maiden powers. I will give the ability to absorb the maiden powers by your hands. You have to be close to the wielder.
Akuma smirks. "Thank you for the information of these maidens. I will find all four and take it for myself and defeat Salem and anyone who stands in my way. I accept my reincarnation." He added.

A flash of light absorbed him and the next thing he knew is that he is a new born child in a hospital being delivered by a doctor to a blonde hair man and woman.
The adults are happily holding their child.
"Nicholas what should we name him?" The woman asked her husband.
"I don't know Juniper. What do you want to name him?" Nicholas asked his wife.
Juniper looks at her newborn son and after thinking long and hard. She decides on a name.
"His name shall be Jaune Arc." Juniper says.
