Harry Potter- Choices we Made

Chapter 5

I woke up late and rushed to breakfast. Thankfully, it's a Saturday, so I didn't have to worry about missing classes. I ran down the stairs once I had gotten ready and was greeted by everyone. Weekends are usually my favourite because students from different houses are aloud to sit with different houses. Our table within my friend group went:
Fred, Lee Jordan, George, Katie Bell, Angelina Johnson, me, Luna Lovegood, Ginny, Ron, Hermione Granger, Harry Potter, Neville Longbottom, Oliver wood, Cedric Diggory and his group of friends as well as some people from ravenclaw Quidditch team. We all intercted but we had our own private conversation. "Where were you yesterday?" Fred questioned me.
"Tell him Phoenix, he has to know at some point. He is your family." Luna stated truthfully
"I hate it when you're right." I groaned. I told my siblings to meet me in the common room after breakfast. It's a good job we're in the same house. They made their way down and Hermione asked if she was needed. I told her it was a family matter and she got the message that it was just going to be us Weasley's plus Luna. I just had to ask her first.
"Luna, will you come with me." I asked
"Of course i will." she responded which i will always be greatful for.
"Thank you for being here." I murmered
"I'll always be here, just never be afraid to ask" she uttered back whilst pulling me into a hug. We walked to the common room hand in hand as she was telling me that it was all going to work out. When we got there, it was empty apart from my siblings standing tjere, with worry written all across their faces. That means there's more privacy for this conversation.
"So?" Ginny asked
"You got this Phoe, I'm here." Luna whispered
"Okay, guys I'm bi." I blurted out.
"Okay, cool." Fred stated
They all hugged me and told me that I was still their little sister.
"Were you afraid to tell us?" Ron questioned.
"I was, but I don't know why, you're the best siblings i could have ever wished for." I answered
"I know"
"We're amazing." Fred and Geprge joked
"Why were you scared?" Ginny asked
"Honestly, I thought that you guys wouldn't accept me" I truthed
"Of course we accept you. You bloody git." Ron exclaimed
We all laughed some more and Luna kept saying I told you so. We all decided to have a sleepover as I discussed the events that happened with mum and dad. At that moment, Moon (my owl) came tapping on my window as the window wasn't open. I quickly let it in. It had a couple of letters attached around it's leg and I realised that it must be from Bill and Charlie. Everyone asked me to read it once I discussed why they sent me letters. I opened Bill's letter first and it read:

Dear Phoenix

I dunno why you were afraid to tell me this. I think you should celebrate and have fun. We're only young once. anyways, why should it matter what my opinion is, it's you that decides your happiness nobody else. I'll always love ya, and that won't change. keep being you, I'm so proud of ya.

Love Bill xx

I finished reading the letter and passed it round.
"Since when did Bill get soft?" George asked
"Must be the wife's impression on him." Fred answered
"Open Charlie's" Ginny encouraged
"Yeah, open it." Ron spoke, eagerly
I took the letter out of the enevelope and begun to read it.

Dearest Phoe (Phoenix)

How dare you tell me now, I should have been the fisrt to know. I'm only joking. well done you for opening up. As long as you're happy, then I am too and that won't change, I promise. Listen, I'm sorry the letter is short but I have to get back to work. Can't wai to see you at Christmas. Me, you, and Bill are gonna have to catch up soon. You were and forever will be my favourite sibling.

I passed the letter around for everyone to see and then people started arguing about who my favourite was. But just between me and you, it has always been Charlie. Not like I'll tell them that. We walked out of the common room chatting and then went back to our routine. Ron was going to meet up with Hermione and Harry, Fred and Geroge were going back to Lee about another prank amd Ginny was going back to Angelina and Katie. Then there's me. I hung out with Luna for a bit when I couldn't hold back my feelings any longer. My siblings helped a lot with this and without them I wouldn't have the courage for what I'm about to do next.
"Luna?" I spoke up
"Yeah." she hummed
"I..I like you, as more than a friend." I stuttered
"Finally, I like you too, as more than a friend."
When she said that, it felt like my stomach had twisted into knots, I could explode with happiness. We shared a kiss and I felt fireworks explode. This is the happiest moment of my entre life. When we finally broke apart, I asked a question containing only 5 words. The question I've been longing to ask.
"Will you be my girlfriend?" I wondered
"YESSS!!!" she screamed before running into my arms as we shared another kiss. But this one felt more special and I tressured that.
We heard clapping from behind us and I turned to see my siblings, Harry, Hermione, Neville, Lee, Cedric and Oliver. I then saw Fred hand 5 sickles to George.
"Did you guys bet on our relationship?" I sounded surprised
"Yep." the twins replied in unison.
Now there was only one thing left to do.
Tell Percy, which I did. To my surprise, he supported me and when we went home for Chrsitmas, Luna and her dad came around. My family accepted her and her dad accepted me. i couldn't ask for a better family/ friends. This was where I belong, and I always will.
