Your eyes not leaving the screen of your phone as you recite his text over and over again in a hushed tone that is too low to be heard by the other passengers. With every word you read, you can feel your heart blooming in pure euphoria as your lips form a slight smile.

Damn, what spell did he put on me? How can someone be this down bad to be over-reacting over a text sent to them a week ago? Pathetic, you know. You can't help it tho. I mean, it's pretty understandable since the journey from Tokyo to Hokkaido takes around 8 hours by plane but still.

And that's why today is going to be memorable. You received an email not long ago, approving your application letter to study at their university in Tokyo. And of course, like any other desperate ex-matrix student that got rejected by the other educational institutions they applied for, you gladly accepted. About enrolling in a uni that is away in another state, you obviously have to relocate there. The original plan was like this: book a flight to Tokyo, pack your shits, fly there on the planned date, find an apartment somewhere near the school, then,..that's it?

You being you, you told Chifuyu about it which earned you spam of random letters. "That plan of yours is too smooth to be going well, dumbass." he laughed. Not gonna lie that kinda hurt, not that you took it to heart. To your disbelief, he then ASKED you if you want to live with him since he was able to find a good place and that he already moved in. No, like legit. He actually said that. You remember how in awe you were when you saw the text. Thanks to your whining about giving up on this whole 'apartment hunting' .

It's no secret that you've been crushing on him for as long as you can remember now. The moving thing is a big joke for sure, the two of you would've probably be dating right now if it wasn't for it. That's why you cherish that text a lot. Not only that you don't have to bother yourself with the difficulties of finding an apartment in a foreign state, but also allows you to just spend a lot of time with Chifuyu, just the two of you. I mean, this is what most love-struck young girls dream of, right? This opportunity comes once in a lifetime, and you vow not to waste it.

Now here you are, head resting against the cold surface of the window as your body relaxes on the aeroplane seat. Spotify is now playing 'Telepatia' as you lift your head that has been in the same position for the past few minutes. While you were at it, you decide to steal a glance at the view behind the glass window. The scenery that welcomes you get you amazed. The cloudless blue sky is as vibrant as it can be today. The aeroplane view of the bright buildings down there is so breathtaking that you can't take off your gaze from it. Time really has a huge impact on the view considering that you were only welcomed with pitch-black of a sky for 5 hours straight. The plane is probably going to land soon judging by how long you have been in there. It's about to turn 9 a.m.

"Ladies and gentlemen, as we start our descent, please make sure your seat backs and tray tables are in their full upright position. Make sure...."

The sound that the wheels of your luggage meeting the airport floor invades your mind as you walk towards the entrance of the building. You want to get out of there immediately. Searching for your luggage at the baggage claim area is an ass. Your legs feel like they're about to go numb with every step you take.

As you finally get yourself out of there, you immediately spot a certain white car parked near the airport, knowing already that the said vehicle is your ride. It's no mystery that it is Emma's.
