Izuku struggled to keep his head up as Canary presented the information she omitted at yesterday's meeting. Her teased knowledge of allomancy and feruchemy peaked his interest at the meeting, but Izuku now struggled to concentrate. He had been healed several times that morning and he was already feeling sluggish again. Not physically sluggish but mentally. He couldn't put together a training sim for his knights for later that day, he couldn't remember anything Killua had explained before the meeting, he couldn't even enjoy the presentation he begged to attend. He found himself swaying in his seat.

His behavior drew strange glances form the others in the room, or at least he assumed they were strange, his eyes wouldn't focus for long enough for him to read their faces. He felt like he'd collapse, but his body was still strong. His mind was slowly becoming inoperable, like an old engine crapping out after a long drive. Izuku felt like he could explain exactly why this was happening, but his mind refused to do anything half as complicated.

He sat infront of his nen-conjured notebook, only half manifested, his mind had given up half way through summoning it. Izuku yawned. He heard muffled voices from across the room. Someone was talking to him and he could hardly hear them. Even his senses were failing. Izuku had just enough if his wits to realize this and blurted it out.

"I can't even hear you, I need to go." Izuku stood, still swaying.

It was like the wiring that connected his mind and his body had been frayed, sun bleached, stretched and shat on, or something like that. Izuku leaned and tried to balance himself, but He was experiencing something that made vertigo seem like nothing. It looked like Izuku was under ragdoll physics rather than normal Newtonian mechanics.

Bisky made to stand, saying-

"Here, let me heal y-"

"No..." Izuku slurred.

"Body fine. Mind, no. Can't live. Need sleep. No argue."

Izuku then stumbled toward the door growing more incoherent by the second.

"Okay." Yari stood form her place right next to Burnin'.

"Let's get you to bed, before you hit your head on something."

"Good. Head tired." Izuku mumbled as Yari easily hoisted him of his feet and flung him over her shoulder. His eyes finally closed, his mind gave out. Izuku fell unconscious.

"I'll be back." Yari turned to him.

"You mind if I tag along?" Burnin' asked.

"Nah, c'mon." Yari turned and strolled away, Moe following.

Killua looked to everyone, cringing.

"He looks like a goddamn junkie."

"I can't say I'm surprised though, he's been cheating nature for three weeks, pushing himself to the limit each step of the way." Bisky shook her head.

"In my experience, it's after two weeks of continuous cheating, the mind starts to wear down. Have you not told him of this?" Canary looked to Killua speculatively.

"We wanted to see how far the kid could go. He might have been an anomaly." Killua shrugged.

Canary sighed.

"That boy is still growing. Who knows what's happening to his body right now."

Killua snorted and smirked.
