The engagement

Nikki's p.o.v.

" Caiden hurry up we are going to be late!"

Today was our five year anniversary of dating. I know something special is going to happen today. It just seams like he is looking for the ring. I just know it!

" are you ready Nikki?" Exclaimed Caiden

" yes dear I am. I was waiting on you." Replied Sara

"We'll then let's go" Caiden exclaimed

Caiden's p.o.v

"Right this way" said our waiter

We sat down at our table and that's when it hit me. I am nervous as hell to ask her to marry me. She is the light to my raining day. She is my everything. I can't decide if I will do it or not.

Ill do it.

"Ok what would you all like to drink?"

"I'll take sweet tea without the lemon" replied Nikki

"I'll take a coke" I told the waiter

"Ok I will be right back with your drinks." Said the waiter

Is this the right time? Is it the perfect time to ask her? Should I wait till we get our dinner? I'm so confused! I have an idea.

"Nikki I will be back, I have to use the restroom". I told Nikki

"Ok don't take to long" she replied

I went straight to the restroom and pulled out my phone. To call my best friend Carson.

"Hey Caiden, arnt you supposed to be with Nikki. I thought u guys were at dinner" Carson said urgently

" Carson I need some advise. We just ordered our drinks. Should I pop the question now or later?" I said feeling like it was the end of the world.

"YES DO IT NOW. it might be your only chance"

"Ok thanks. I got to go. Ill talk to you later to tell you how it goes. Bye

"Bye!"

I walk back to the table thinking about what I will tell her.

Nikki's p.o.v.

He finally is walking back he has a huge grin on his face. What is about to happen?

"Hey your back" I said sounding so excited

"Yea. Hey can u not say anything back to be for like five mins?" He said with a scared tone of voice.

" sure go ahead" I replied confused

"Nikki we have dated for five years. We spent those five years being the best couple ever. I love you a lot.

And I know you love me very deeply and you would do anything to stay with me forever." He paused and bowed down on one knee "Nikki will you marry me
