The Decision
---
The whole town of Garing-free heard the news that David was captured. All of the people are in their homes, staying, to keep themselves the safest. Ellen was keep on thinking that his husband is already gone. No one is to trust now because even her wish for the three of them to be safe is impossible, right now. Ellen keeps on blaming herself for bringing a problem to Garing-free.
Ellen definitely needs a perfect choice for Amy and for everyone else whether Portland Goldens is a good choice and place to live. If I, we are there, our enemy will be there to bother us and to kill us, she thought. She is right, the Kininvas are to invade their kingdom. Ellen has decided, they will stay here for now until Amy is old enough to inspire the good people of Portland Goldens and they will finally have to leave the city of Garing-free.
Ellen's determination to get David back from those wicked invaders is very strong. She promised to win against them, the Kininvas. Ellen thought, just wait, David.
---
Years have finally passed and David was still in the hands of the Kininvas. No one in there ever liked to stay in that place where no freedom is present.
"We already waited for years to let us go! Your promise is just for show!" Carl, the buddy that is with David inside the same cell, shouted with real anger.
"Yeah!" An old man with a long beard said. "He's right! Let us go, you scoundrels!"
A loud and insulting laugh was heard from the every corner of the jail.
"Idiots!" James, the King of Kininvas said. "Of course, I need you all to track Ellen!"
"Well," David paused, "no one tries to show you where she is because..." And David paused with the cause of his confusion of what to say.
"Because what?" James turned to David with one eyebrow raised.
David's mind is full of alibis to say but nothing is as right and as accurate as one of them.
"Because we don't know who she is!" David shouted with some guts that helped him say this.
"And even we know," the another man on the next cell of David's said,"we won't tell you where she is!"
"Any last words?" James whose eyes are narrowing, obviously hiding his anger, said to the man with no fear.
"Wicked men!" The man shouted.
James shot a bullet from his gun. James laughed as he plays his gun through his hands but he doesn't seem to be contented.
"Hey!" James commanded as the men healed him. "WHAT - ARE - YOU - WAITING - FOR? You, lazy men! Heal him!"
He then left, murmuring, "he must be a good tracker."

Meanwhile at the busy city of Garing-free, Amy opened her eyes as the sun shines to her face and said, "Good morning, mom."
"Good morning, darling!" Ellen said as she handed Amy a bow. "Happy Birthday!"
"Thanks, mom," Amy said.
"It's actually from David," Ellen said.
"Oh, thank you, dad. I hope you're alright now," Amy said with all her best voice.
"I prepared something for you," Ellen said as she showed her presents. "Two sets of arrows, one for the back and one for your waist. Actually, I have here another one for the horse's neck. I'll just keep it incase that you would need. I'll teach you soon."
"Mom, thanks for being always here for me," Amy said.
"It's only one thing," Ellen said, "I love you."
Amy smiled and she looked at the door. Someone's knocking.
"Happy eleventh birthday, Amy!" A manly adolescent with a pair of bluish gray eyes stood by the doorway. He is Lance, her childhood friend surprised her as she opened the door.
"Thanks," Amy said.
"Oh, here. We had a little celebration," Ellen said as she gave both of Amy and Lance a plate of food.
"Thank you," Lance said,
"Oh, mom, I'll eat later. I'm gonna take a bath first," Amy said simply.
"Oh, yes, dear," Ellen said.
Amy left Ellen and Lance. Ellen sitted near Lance.
"Aunt Ellen, if you wouldn't mind, can Amy go with me for a while?" Lance said as he blushed.
"Yes, of course, I know I can trust you. By the way, I saw that!" Ellen exclaimed as if she saw a very happy while.
"That - ?" Lance asked.
"You blushed," Ellen said.
"Uhh . . . " Lance said. "No. I didn't."
"It's alright. It doesn't matter. Take care of her," Ellen said,
Lance giggled. Later on, Amy came near to them wearing a blue polka dress.
"I'll let you tell her," Ellen whispered to Lance. "It's up to you."
Lance nodded to what Ellen said. Amy seemed curious about what her mom just whispered to Lance.
"Mom," Amy called curiously, "what is it? Is it anything about me?"
Lance suddenly turned paler than ever. He looked as if he was being brought to a scary dungeon. Who will not be scared with a kind of dungeon without light and with eerie feeling?
"Nothing, dear," Ellen simply said.
"Okay," Amy said suspiciously. "Nothing —nothing."
Lance suddenly broke the silence and awkwardness.
"So, can we go out?" Lance asked nervously.
"Yes!" Amy responded.
"Your food! You forgot it!" Ellen exclaimed, worrying for the two's stomach might just rumble the whole walk.
"Later, mom!" Amy said as Ellen shook her head while smiling as if it was really funny though it should have really been.
Ellen simply watched the two –Amy and Lance– walk until they're out of sight. She trusted Lance with the cause of Lance is a childhood friend of Amy as what is said earlier. Ellen simply walked through the living room and sat down gently on the couch. She, tearfully took the picture frame of the three of them (while Amy is still a baby) on a little sturdy table, standing next to the couch. Ellen opened her mouth to say something but she closed it again but after a while of thinking, she tried to speak because she believes that somehow, the words you speak to the picture of someone gives them courage.
"David," she cried. "I know you need someone to lean on and after all these years, I didn't do anything to go there and save you. Maybe I'm just weak but I will try to be strong for the safety of all."
Saying these words, Ellen suddenly felt the responsibility of being a queen of a huge kingdom, a loving wife, and of course, an irreplaceable mother.
