After breakfast Morrigan hurried to the platform which belonged to Unit 919, where Hawthorne, Cadence and the others were already waiting for her. Miss Cheery wasn't there yet, so Morrigan sat down with Hawthorne and Cadence. A week has passed since the Morrigan destroyed Hollowpox and cured the sick with the help of Squall, and they have not yet had time to really discuss everything. But that wasn't what really bothered her. She was having doubts about whether she should have told someone that she accepted Squall's offer and became his apprentice? To Jupiter, Jack, or Hawthorne with Cadence? After all, they were her closest people and it would be simply wrong to hide such a thing from them. But on the other hand, she was afraid of their reaction, afraid that they would get angry and turn away from her. No, she wasn't ready to admit it now. Morrigan shook her head, pushing away unpleasant thoughts.
"Good morning" - Morrigan greeted them - "I'm finally getting back to class".
A sincere smile appeared on Morrigan's face, she really couldn't wait to get back to school as soon as possible.
Hawthorne beamed when he saw his friend.
"How are you feeling? After everything that happened" - Cadence asked. They were very worried about Morrigan and often visited her.
"As good as new" - Morrigan replied - "I'm going to go back to Sub-9 today and train. I think I've already recovered enough to use wunder".
"Don't overdo it" - Cadence remarked - "By the way, you still haven't told us how Ezra Squall was involved in everything that happened. I thought you said that he helped you get rid of what he himself created?" - she tried to speak as nonchalantly as possible, but it was obvious that she was impatient to find out everything as soon as possible.
"I also wanted to ask you about this" - Hawthorne joined in the conversation - "This Squall is a bad guy, right? Judging by what I saw when we were near The Museum of Stolen moments. Why did he suddenly decide to help? At the same time, without demanding anything in return. This is absurd" - he crossed his arms over his chest.
The two of them were clearly waiting for answers from Morrigan and were not going to leave her alone until they got them. Morrigan cleared her throat, wondering what to say. But at that moment, a train with Miss Cheery pulled up to the platform. Morrigan was inwardly elated that he had arrived so on time. After all, they will not discuss what happened on the train, not in front of everyone. They'll talk about it later. The rest of the Unit had already jumped into the train and Hawthorne, Cadence, and Morrigan hurried after them. No need to keep the others waiting.
Being on Sub-9, Morrigan opened The Book of Ghostly Hours to see what lesson she should attend today. She decided to stop at the lesson, which will begin in 15 minutes. Griselda and Decima were supposed to teach it and only Elodie was there from the students. But Morrigan immediately realized that the two teachers were not standing there in vain, which means that this lesson was most likely attended by Squall. Well, what does it matter. No one could see her anyway.
It turns out that in this lesson students practiced in the art of Tempus. Until this moment, Morrigan had never seen this art in action. She only knew that it was connected with the manipulation of time. Throughout the lesson Morrigan tried to repeat after Griselda and Decima, but she did not succeed well. No, it's not bad - it's terrible. She never thought that it would be so difficult. Elodie and Ezra did everything almost from the first time, but Morrigan should not compare herself with them. After all, they were already trained in the basics and there was someone to teach them. The same could not be said about the Morrigan herself. She was damned curious about when her first lesson with Squall would take place. As much as she was ashamed of it, she couldn't deny that she was looking forward to the upcoming classes with him.
