Oikawa has always loved the stars, he found them to be rather unique. It's like ton of tiny small dots, would form a beautiful pattern in the dark night sky every time. Not only that, but he first met the most important person for him; Iwaizumi Hajime under the stars. They were both only eight years old when Oikawa got to look into Iwaizumi's olive-green eyes. And even though, the brunette was sitting on the swings, looking at the stars, he couldn't help, but think the spiky haired boy was shining way brighter, than any of the stars. ''Hey.'' Oikawa was the first one, that dared to a word. ''Hi. Who are you, and why are you here at 1 in the morning?'' The unknown boy questioned. ''I could ask you the same thing.'' Oikawa chuckled, earning a ''whatever.'' From the other kid. ''Anyways, my name's Oikawa Tōru!'' Iwaizumi no longer seemed interested and Oikawa pouted. ''You sure are childish, Childishkawa.'' The spikey haired boy laughed. ''RUDE STRANGER-CHAN!!!!" Oikawa stand up from the swings immediately, and regrated even thinking he was cool. ''Wait STRANGER-CHAN?'' Iwaizumi said as he almost choked on his own saliva. ''Yep, you didn't tell me your name.'' The brunette grinned, realizing the other boy wasn't a fan of nicknames, and thinking how to piss him off further. ''Iwaizumi Hajime.'' Iwaizumi said blankly. ''What?" The older boy teased. ''My name is Iwaizumi Hajime.'' The green-eyed boy repeated, starting to lose patience. ''Ok Iwa-chan!'' Oikawa shouted smiling. ''ASSHOLE- '' The two boys soon parted ways, as Oikawa stayed at the swings to continue stargazing, and Iwaizumii went home. The strange thing was, 'Kawa couldn't focus on the stars anymore, because it reminded him of the grumpy boy he may or might not see ever again. Just like that, years passed. The boys actually never met each other at the playground, nor seen each other around, yet Oikawa wasn't able to forget about that day.

The brunette was now in his 3rd year of high school. Quite charming and popular, yet he felt like something was missing. It happened at the start of the semester. The day Oikawa will never forget. Just as everyone had gathered in the classroom, the teacher told everyone she had an announcement to make. ''Listen up class! We have a new student who will be joining us for the school year.'' Miss. Anka said as he walked in.
Oikawa's pov:
My smile faded and my eyes widened. It's him. The boy I met that night, it's him. My thoughts were interrupted by Iwaizumi's voice. ''I'm Hajime Iwaizumi, pleased to meet you.'' He said sitting down in an empty seat in the front row, not even slightly glancing at me. ''Has he forgotten me?'' I thought. But that probably was the case, we literally met once. When we were 8. Fucking eight, what was I even thinking. Once again, my thoughts were interrupted by a voice. It wasn't Iwa's voice though, but my ''dear'' friend's Takahiro Hanamaki's voice. ''Checking out the new boy, huh? '' Makki teased obviously misunderstanding the situation. ''I know him.'' I mumbled. But saying I know him wouldn't be 100% the truth, considering the fact that I only met him once, would it? Geez what's up with everyone interrupting my thoughts today. This time it was Makki's ''lovely'' boyfriend Issei Matsukawa, who basically just butted in the conversation. How rude! ''Ahem, earth to 'Kawa.'' Makki said waving a hand in front of my face. I didn't even realize I spaced out. ''What?'' I asked, rolling my eyes. ''Geez, what's up with you today?" ''Didn't get enough beauty sleep, or something?'' Makki and Mattsun questioned. ''No, it's just...'' Before I could even finish my sentence, Ms. Anka yelled at the duo to get back to their seats, and screamed at me for talking in her class, not like I cared.

The lesson was boring as always, but my thoughts were wandering off somewhere, and I'd stare at Iwaizumi from time to time, so I might have embarrassed myself a few times. As the lecture ended, I was putting my books into my backpack, when suddenly someone came up to me and put a hand on my shoulder. I almost jumped from the sudden touch. When I turned around to see who it was my jaw dropped. The one and only Iwaizumi. ''Does he remember me after all?!'' I thought to myself as I started feeling happier, he has gotten hot too. ''Yes?'' I asked, a bit excited. Only to get let down once more. ''Um, I just wanted to say I felt uncomfortable by your staring the whole lesson.'' He spoke. My god. I'm so embarrassed. I feel my face starting to heat up, as I blurt out something along the lines of: ''I-I'm sorry, um I didn't mean to uh I won't do it again. Erm bye!'' And then I ran off. How lame. Honestly, why can't I just forget him, it was only one night, when we were children, so why?

Iwaizumi's pov:
''What a strange boy.'' I thought as I walked out of the classroom too. This new school isn't much different than my old one, and the classes are about equally boring. There's only one thing that been bugging me. That boy, I feel like I've seen him before. I was already anxious by him staring at me so much, but this feeling is making me even more uneasy. The rest of the classes pass in a flash. And before I knew it, it was time to go home. I ended up not making any friends for now, not that no one noticed me, but that I simply wasn't in the mood to. When I get home my mother Aimi is already cooking dinner. ''Hey dear, how was your first day?" She asks noticing me. ''It was fine, this school is not really different from the one I used to attend.'' I respond not showing much interest. ''Ah, okay dinner will be ready soon.'' My mother says as I start going upstairs. I just end up laying in my bed, while waiting for dinner to be ready.

The next morning Oikawa almost overslept. If it wasn't for Makki to call him. The dude might have missed the whole first period. When the brunette receives the phone call, he basically flew out of his bed, threw on his uniform and showed everything he needed (and also didn't) in his school bag. The tall boy ended up arriving 2 to 3 minutes before class, with messy hair and dark eyebags under his eyes. ''Dude, what is wrong with you?!'' The pinkish haired boy started scolding him. ''You look awful.'' Mattsun added. And honestly it annoyed the fuck out of Oikawa. ''RUDE!'' He yelled, earning glares from everyone in the class. Including Iwaizumi. ''Shit.'' Oikawa quietly said. Which made the two boys even more worried, however they didn't have any time to question him further, as the super grumpy math professor entered the classroom. And even if they had more time, there's no way the brunette would tell both boys why he seems so on edge today. He, himself didn't really understand either. Nor he understood why, he couldn't sleep last night. But he knew one thing, he wanted to best friend the spiky haired boy.
