"Watch out," Miss Magna called when the class began, "you have now passed the first trimester. Before the holidays start next week, you will go on a trip at the end of the week."

The students looked at each other with interest.

Lilliana came up and handed out notes: "Since we are here on Linphea, it is extremely important for us to test your penchant for nature. In this case we also take your powers into consideration. The boarding school students get permission from us to come back later. The external students should inform their parents about this. How long the excursion lasts depends on how long you need. Since this is your first excursion, you can come together in groups yourself."

The Moonix Girls only looked at each other briefly and nodded. Of course, they didn't want another group. Meanwhile, Miss Magna had written something on the board: "Next, here are the dates for the next trimester. In the first week we have basic lessons again. Then you will attend the other types of school for a month. I've divided you into four groups. Find your names and the associated group. Group 1 begins in the Tower of Dark Magic, Group 2 in the Castle of Light Magic, Groups 3 and 4 in the House of Helpers. Group 3 goes to the animals first and Group 4 to the weapons. You then change one station every week."

A fairy named Tessa spoke up: "My magic is based on light. Why should I be in the tower of dark magic?"

Amy replied, "How about broadening your mind?"

"Says the right one," Florenzia whispered and the other Moonix girls giggled softly.

Tessa growled: "The dark magic always makes me dizzy. I don't want to go to the tower of dark magic."

Trisha turned around: "You know that the forces are in harmony with each other. There is no light without darkness. Both need each other. If you learn the basics of dark magic, your light will shine even brighter."

Miss Magna just mumbled, without anyone noticing: "At least one that shows that she has learned something."

"Right, Trisha," Lilliana agreed, "And Tessa, the dizziness goes away quickly. I know what I'm talking about."

The fairy crossed her arms and Amy said: "Hey, I also have to endure the light magic."

"Quiet," Miss Magna said neutrally, "I want to start."

After the class, all Moonix Girls went to a practice room. At the MoonAcademy, there were not only the monthly exams, but also the trimester exams of Wisdom, Strength, and Magic. Wisdom was the hardest and last of the school year. Strength was the use of magic and therefore the second. The first magic test was imminent.

Florenzia held her notebook in front of her: "The first test will consist of simple spells. First: turning a stone into an object. Second: transforming an object into a living being. Third: transforming one living being into another and back. Fourth, summoning an elemental spirit. And fifth: a magic of our choice with difficulty level 2."

She let the notebook disappear and Alyson sighed: "Create a living being from an object? My magic is made up of lifeless gems. That will be difficult."

"Difficult", Florenzia muttered, "One of my favorite words."

Trisha took out four stones: "Who wants to start?"

Michella took the first one, turned it into a comfortable armchair and sat down: "I may not be the best when it comes to magic, but I recognize your mistakes immediately. Begin."

"Teacher Michella", Trisha giggled and put the stones in front of her. Florenzia took the second stone and turned it into a radio.

Alyson made a rag doll out of her: "My sisters will be happy when I can turn stones into dolls."
