Lean's POV
I sat down the floor leaning my head against the dark walls of the hallway here at the old emergency wing. No one really passes by except for some nurses doing shortcut going to the new section of the hospital.
I usually go here when I have time to spare. l find it calm and soothing since it has no frequent visitors. Quite far from the busy ambiance of the new emergency wing there at the new building.
And besides, it brings back memories that I can't forget.
Memories that keeps on disturbing me.
Memories that keeps on racing in my mind."What an emergency." I blurted out while still breathing heavily from running arround assisting patients for the past three hours. Now everything went back to normal.
The new emergency room, once filled with voices of agony and pain from burns and wounds of the people, was now quiet and peaceful.
A fire occured in a subdivision that caused many wounded people to be rushed to the hospital. Good thing no one was killed by the incident.
But then many people lost their homes. They will be having a hard time looking for shelter since everything went to ash as the angry fires swallowed their houses.
I pitty them, but that's life. You can't be always laying down on a bed of roses, sometimes you should feel the pain from the thorns of life.
I blew some strands of my hair covering my face, when I saw a silhouette moving from behind the walls of the storage room near the fire exit.
I focused my eyes and saw a figure of a man standing behind looking directly at me. The man was tall and you can say he has a fit body by just looking at his figure in the dark.
I felt my heart beats faster as his eyes met mine. Goosebumps rose on my skin as I stood up, still my eyes fixed on his direction.
"Can I help you!?. Do you need something!?.. Or are you lost!?" I said a little bit louder for him to hear. Slowly I approach his position, but before I can even reach his place, light from the sun shown from the window pane pass the curtains that was blown by the wind.
The beam struck his face, but before I manage to see it, someone called my name. I turned back and saw Sheena running towards my direction.
"Lee I was looking for you. Dr. Vinson needs you in his office pronto." She said, now standing in front of me.
"Ok just a minute. I need to talk to someone." I said as I turned back to the direction where the man ,a while ago, was standing. The guy was no where to be seen. I turned my head trying to look for him, but all I saw was the dark path shone by a little ray of light.
"And your going to talk to whom?" Sheena said with one brow up.
"I think he left. Oh well lets go?" I answered like it don't seem to matter. But deep inside it does matter.
We walk out the hallway and went straight to Dr. Vinson's office.Stalker's POV
I'm not yet ready to show myself to her. I'm afraid on what she's going to say or react to my sudden appearance. I'll just wait for the right time .
I went out my position and watched them as they went to the bright side of the building.
I turned my back and put my hoodie on and placed my hands in my pocket. "Maybe next time. When I'm really ready" I said to myself and started walking the opposite direction.
